"The worst thing about SB is commuting. The best one is yet to come."

"Honestly, I love it here. The portions of my rating that are a little lower (money, essentially) matter very little to me compared to the quality of the program itself. Overall, Stony Brook has a great new program with amazing professors and opportunities."

"The online program is a great way to balance work and school. The teachers have been great and being able to reach them by email whenever you need them made it feel like professor office hours. I do miss the face-to-face interaction with fellow students but you can still connect with them online. Overall, a more affordable way to pursue your graduate degree"

"THe online program is great for working students who can't make it in to classrooms but requires a great deal of discipline to get work done on your available time. So far the faculty and staff have been very helpful and supportive and while assignments can be time consuming, I find that they have been engaging. Also the freedom of Stony Brook's Liberal Arts degree lets students design their majors. for the first time I wasn't forced to choose between literature/ writing and education. This program allowed me to do it all!"

"I love the online program with Stonybrook. It is great for the working adult looking to advance their education. I do wish their was more financial aid available because while affordable in comparison to other Grad Schools, it is pricey nonetheless."

"This is a very well respected program in a highly respected school. Opportunities exist for collaboration across disciplines, and many teaching opportunities have been given to me as a grad student in a variety of areas. This school also offers top rate certificate programs to enhance the overall professionalism of the degree."
