"I attended at a satellite campus, and I don't feel that our needs were adequately addressed. I'm not sure what the experience would be like on the main campus, however."

"I loved Temple. The professors were so passionate about the field, and that is actually the reason I chose Temple instead of the other option in Florida. Each class was filled with bright students and professionals that were excited, intelligent, and from all walks of life. The area where Temple was located was not the greatest . . . but it was definitely filled with security and had all kinds of security available to those in need. I loved my experience there and continue to keep in touch with some of the professors and friends that I made during my time there."

"Temple was a great experience. The library and its resources were very helpful. I wish there was more financial opportunity as well as student based housing when I was attending."

"I currently attend Temple University and am perusing my Master of Social Work. Temple has a great, well respected MSW program that prepares us for working in the field. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field and are often willing to take the extra time to answer questions before and after class, mentor you, etc. Temple also encourages us students to lear about multiple components of the world of social work so that we will be more knowledgeable and effective upon graduation."

"I loved Temple! The campus is walkable, the buidlings are modern and the education is very well respected. As a student I felt supported, I understood the path I was on, and the City taught me so much! One visit and you will understand the multicultural, urban campus and its appeal."

"As a part-time social work student at Temple University, I am very busy. As a social work student with a full-time job, two classes, and two mandatory internships (one each year) which must include 15 to 18 hours a week, you have a very packed schedule. A number of students I know could not manage a full-time job with an internship and classes and dropped their hours at work from full-time to part-time. If I had known what I was really getting into I may not have gone back to school. One of Temple's pros is the diversity in the classrooms. Another con is the crime ridden neighborhood that Temple resides in."

"The pros about this Temples MSW program is that they are very competitive and education is number one. The knowledge of the professors is high and they all showed a passion for what they taught. The cons of Temple are sometimes the organization and how the financial aid office operates."

"I love what Temple offered me and I can see how the school has changed since I graduated. They have addressed the lack of housing concern and the school of social work has merged with another school."

"Temple University's MSW program is geared towards allowing professional students, who work full-time in the field. The program allows for a full course-load in addition to keeping a full-time job, even using relevant employment in the field as internship options. The program is very supportive of non-"traditional" students, offering part-time programs with Saturday only classes. The teaching staff is professional and reliable, and the University staff is always there to help. Technology is above and beyond, allowing for a different dimension to the classroom experience."

"I attended Temple for Undergraduate and Graduate studies. I would not trade my education experiences for anything and the person that Temple helped me to mature into this present day. Temple assisted with financial aid and was full of cultural/social life. I had a lot of training through real life experiences, which are helpful in my career as a social worker. The housing issue was difficult to navigate, which caused me to not live on campus any of my years at the school. Housing is really my only complaint and possibly the wish that education was a little less expensive (but that is everywhere)."
