"I am currently enrolled at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law-Texas Southern University as a second-year law student. The faculty take a genuine interest in the education of their students and work to ensure you are provided the best education possible. I have been challenged by them to think in ways that I would not imagine were possible and further learn to apply the knowledge passed on by them to apply in other avenues of life. They are socially conscious of current events and bring such issues to light in their teaching in order to keep their students well-informed to make a positive difference in this country upon successful graduation. I am forever grateful to have been afforded the opportunity to attend such a magnificent school as the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University."

"There is a good structure in the graduate school in Texas Southern University, the Professors help you to identify my passion and how it relates to my field of study, they are ready to work with you at all times. However, the only negative part of my program is the limited funds in terms of scholarships or financial aid available to international graduate students."

"The Pros of my graduate school is that its diverse you have people from different part of the world and the class size is quiet small which gives you an opportunity to know lecturers better. The con's would be better use of technology and more opportunities for students in regards to networking and internship programs from top companies"

"Pros:Iit's a great program and is recognized in the pharmacy world as such. Most of the professors and faculty really do a lot to make sure we get the most out of our education and they go above and beyond to help anyone who's struggling. Cons: You're on campus for the first two years of the professional program and have to deal with the "campus life" which, for me personally as a professional student, is a turn off. The facility isn't the greatest and could use some work, there also seems to be a lot of issues with space. Not sure yet if this is a pro or con but, it seems that they have our classes and our contact with the professors structured in a manner that forces us to come together as a class and be united in our interactions with the professors. The down side to that is that its quite difficult to get about 120 people from all races, backgrounds, and levels of understanding to be united."

"My academic experience with the graduate program is that there is flexibility in hours of classes. The instructors are more personable and provide you with needed one on one support. Workshops are provided to expose students to perspective employment. Assistance is provided for job attainment. The school involves the student in active networking. Students are also encouraged to involve themselves in social networking. My experience with the University has been mostly positive, however, I have had difficulty with obtaining adequate financing to complete my academic program. The instructors do not provide sufficient alternatives to assessments. A student's life experience is not factored in his/her academic program, status and/or admittance."

"The pharmacology graduate program provides an excellent environment for learning by providing professors with various areas of expertise to advise, interact, and instruct each graduate student. In our facility we are provided with 2 computer labs, a pharmacy library, a graduate only learning/study room, and several labs with notary publishing and ongoing novel projects. Although we are provided with a generous stipend the cost of living still makes expenses outweigh the help. I have completed my courses and The Comprehensive exam and as a Doctoral Candidate in a challenging program I will need an additional year to finish my lab work and dissertation. I am grateful for the opportunity to be here but financially I am concerned about the upcoming year, I will succeed and walk the stage that is my goal and I will accomplish this task."
