"Texas Tech Health Science Center DPT program in my opinion has been very valuable experience so far. The teaching staff are highly knowledgeable and extremely approachable to us as students. Our program set up is efficient and effective for each student to become a high functioning clinician in any setting in physical therapy. The facilities/classroom setting are an interactive hands on environment that has been instrumental in my development to this point. I would highly recommend any prospective DPT students to take a look at TTUHSC if they want to get the most out of their education."

"The DPT program at TTUHSC is incredible. The staff are so highly trained, but are not intimidating at all to speak to or learn from. They are incredibly helpful whether you need them all the time or just for a few minutes. All professors are very accessible, even if they are at another campus. The education I have received here at TTUHSC has made me a star at my clinical sites. The other students in the program are now my friends and family for life. All lectures are recorded online and can be accessed any time, which is a huge plus for those days where you just can't seem to pay attention 100%. There are so many leadership opportunities at the HSC and around the Lubbock and West Texas areas. The town is great, and the people here are very sincere and appreciative of PTs. I can't thank everyone in this program for what they have given me!!!"

"I am a fairly new student in this program and can already see the difference in this school compared to any other that I have been to. I was never the type to have much school spirit and coming to Texas Tech has changed that completely. I love my program and am so proud to be a Texas Tech HSC grad student. My course work is very rigorous but that is to be expected with a doctoral degree. Course work is always related back to its importance in our future clinical work. Our professors are very well educated and involved in their professional field but are also still down to earth and have a sense of humor. "Pros: Low cost of attendance, recent faculty hires which have greatly increased overall quality of education, strong reputation in orthopedics, excellent anatomy course with cadaver lab Cons: 3 split campuses limits access and communication with distant professors, lectures delivered over live video make learning difficult, little to do in the cities in which the campuses are located, severe weather conditions are common, several classes involve ridiculous busy work,"

The three biggest pros of the program are the use and promotion of technology use, the connections it has with the rest of the Health Science Center and adjoining hospital, and a very qualified and personable faculty. I do not believe that the program is lacking enough in any one area to be mentioned."

"Couldn't imaging attending a different DPT program.
