"Great program so far and I'm looking forward to finishing up in the next year and a half! I have enjoyed the professors, the hands on learning and my cohort. It took me two years to get into a program and I'm very happy that I ended up at Tech. The school campus is great and everyone is very helpful. I am getting a great education and not having a mountain of debt."

"The Occupational Therapy program at Texas Tech is unmatched! The quality of therapist that are produced from this program are exceptional. From the first year in classes, we have multiple opportunities to interact and practice the skills we learn on ACTUAL clients who may receive our services out in the community. The hands on experience that we receive allows us to hone our skills and provides us with the confidence to interact with actual patients. You will not regret becoming a Red Raider!"

"I have enjoyed my time so far at the TTUHSC in the Master of Occupational Therapy program. Our program has many connections in the community and we are able to have a lot of hands on learning because of that. Our faculty has our best interest at heart and work with every student to be sure we are getting the most out of our program as possible."

"I love this program. All of the faculty and staff (professors, office staff, director, and even higher ups) truly care about how each one of us does. They teach us how to think as clinicians and do not give us rose-colored glasses to see our upcoming practice with. They communicate well and make sure all 51 students in my class are understanding the material. I cannot brag on the staff enough. I will definitely keep in touch with my professors throughout the years because they are phenomenal practitioners, mentors, and teachers. The program also heavily encourages networking with other health professionals at our school and with the class above/below us, which is helpful whenever you do not know what is going on. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's Occupational Therapy program is amazing. The great education I am receiving and the professional connections I am making here are going to put me ahead of so many other students graduating from other schools my year. The TTUHSC campus is very nice and up to date. The OT program got a new lab this year. All of the courses are tailored well and the Gross Anatomy course during the summer was extremely difficult, but it was invaluable to my OT foundation. The curriculum is designed to help us learn the material, but also pass the NBCOT on the first try. Once again, the staff are amazing; if you want an amazing educational experience, apply to TTUHSC's MOT program."

"I am a 1st year student in Occupational Therapy at Texas Tech HSC. I have been very impressed with the teaching and the way the program is structured. I believe they are setting up their students very well to hit the ground running when finished with school. The teachers are very approachable and will bend over backwards to help you succeed. I am extremely happy and proud to have chosen Texas Tech in furthering my education."

"I am a first year OT student and have enjoyed attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's Master of Occupational Therapy program. One of the courses that you take your first semester is graduate-level anatomy. While this class is intense, I feel like it gave us a good foundation for going into a medical profession. We also use the material learned in this course in our other classes. One of the downsides to the program is its location in Lubbock, TX, but I feel like the program keeps us pretty busy with our classes and there's lots of opportunities to get involved with Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) activities and intramural sports."

"My specific program, the Master;s of Occupational Therapy, offers great mentoring from my professors and program director. Also, at the Health Sciences Center, inter-professionalism is highly emphasized, which creates a great atmosphere for networking and to understand what each health profession does, as we will be working with different disciplines in the future."
