"The instructors are very passionate about the subjects they teach and are genuinely interested in helping us learn. They make themselves available to discuss things outside of class and will even wish us luck on our exams in other classes. I am very happy with my time here at TTUHSC!"

"I love attending TTUHSC! The environment is perfect for learning as the professors are not only knowledgable, but invested in my education. They make themselves available outside of class to answer questions and truly do everything they can to prepare us to enter the workforce."

"Such amazing professors! I have learned so much in my time as a student so far. The professors provide so many great resources, learning and marketing opportunities, as well as go out of their way to help students as much as they need. My experience is that they not only teach the info in a highly organized way.. they make it to where the students understand the material, and can apply it to their professional careers. The professors are devoted to helping you succeed, and never intentionally try and make you fail. I love the program, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking toward a degree in physical therapy."

"The DPT program at TTUHSC is incredible. The staff are so highly trained, but are not intimidating at all to speak to or learn from. They are incredibly helpful whether you need them all the time or just for a few minutes. All professors are very accessible, even if they are at another campus. The education I have received here at TTUHSC has made me a star at my clinical sites. The other students in the program are now my friends and family for life. All lectures are recorded online and can be accessed any time, which is a huge plus for those days where you just can't seem to pay attention 100%. There are so many leadership opportunities at the HSC and around the Lubbock and West Texas areas. The town is great, and the people here are very sincere and appreciative of PTs. I can't thank everyone in this program for what they have given me!!!"

"I truly enjoyed my time at TTUHSC School of Nursing. It's an incredibly rigorous program but definitely doable. Faculty and staff work with you in great detail to prepare you for a career as a nurse, especially in the last semester as you begin applying for jobs. I was incredibly surprised at how well prepared I was for the NCLEX, job applications and interviews. Additionally, I was trained well to be able to handle the complexity of working in the ER. It's a great school!"

"I love this program. All of the faculty and staff (professors, office staff, director, and even higher ups) truly care about how each one of us does. They teach us how to think as clinicians and do not give us rose-colored glasses to see our upcoming practice with. They communicate well and make sure all 51 students in my class are understanding the material. I cannot brag on the staff enough. I will definitely keep in touch with my professors throughout the years because they are phenomenal practitioners, mentors, and teachers. The program also heavily encourages networking with other health professionals at our school and with the class above/below us, which is helpful whenever you do not know what is going on. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's Occupational Therapy program is amazing. The great education I am receiving and the professional connections I am making here are going to put me ahead of so many other students graduating from other schools my year. The TTUHSC campus is very nice and up to date. The OT program got a new lab this year. All of the courses are tailored well and the Gross Anatomy course during the summer was extremely difficult, but it was invaluable to my OT foundation. The curriculum is designed to help us learn the material, but also pass the NBCOT on the first try. Once again, the staff are amazing; if you want an amazing educational experience, apply to TTUHSC's MOT program."

"I graduated in the undergraduate program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and now I am currently in the graduate program. That alone should tell you how much I love this school and the speech-pathology program. I am so grateful to have and to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a wonder school with an amazing faculty. I have learned so much and continue to learn more and more each day. The program challenges me to work hard, to never give up, and to be successful!"

"I have loved my time at TTUHSC so far. Through the whole application process, they were the school that made me feel the most valued. Their administrative team members were always quick to respond and offered me the best help they could provide. Since arriving here, I have continued to valued by faculty and supervisors. I am challenged but also encouraged to think outside of the box everyday whether it be in my school work or clinic placement. Wreck'em!"

"Coming to TTUHSC for SLP graduate school is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. My professors are some of the most well-known in our field and have done an excellent job helping me adjust to grad school. Our program was one of the first to promote the idea of Inter-professionalism and because of this I have had the chance to attend an anatomy lab in the cadavers lab with the medical students, co-treat an adult with dementia with an OT student, and teach medical students about Aphasia while learning more about the brain from them. The girls in my program are so supportive and we have created such a positive environment. It is obvious our professors want us to succeed by the amount of support and care they pour into us. We have an "open-door" policy, meaning they are always available for us when we need them. I honesty can't imagine attending grad school anywhere else!"

"Excellent program! There are lots of opportunities to work with different types of patients. The school is connected to a hospital, across the street from a long-term care facility, and has connections to rehab centers and schools in the city of Lubbock."

"Super great program! All of the staff is friendly and gets to know you on a personal level. Faculty and staff throughout the HSC truly wants each individual to succeed. The classes are challenging but very fair. The facilities around the HSC rock, including a gym, cafeteria, private and group study rooms, and a 24/7 security. Free tutoring is a plus!!!"

"Initially starting in the program I was very nervous. However, I have felt more comfortable as the semester has progressed. I feel that there are many resources that are available to me, and I have a good variety of clients, groups, and styles of therapy that I might not be able to get at another school. I liked that the tuition was very reasonable-- about the same as my undergraduate tuition. I feel that some of the classes are not to the same level as other in their difficulty level, but overall they cover a good range of topics and require a reasonable amount of work."

The courses are challenging, but make you so prepared to entire the workforce. Students from this program have had a 100% pass rate on the praxis for 9 years in a row!"

"I have never felt so welcomed on a campus before in my life. Since my interview back in November, I knew this was the school I wanted to go to for physical therapy. It's been a delight to meet the faculty and students here. I moved two states to be here and I feel right at home!"

"I am a fairly new student in this program and can already see the difference in this school compared to any other that I have been to. I was never the type to have much school spirit and coming to Texas Tech has changed that completely. I love my program and am so proud to be a Texas Tech HSC grad student. My course work is very rigorous but that is to be expected with a doctoral degree. Course work is always related back to its importance in our future clinical work. Our professors are very well educated and involved in their professional field but are also still down to earth and have a sense of humor. They all genuinely care for their students more than I have ever seen in other programs. They are always willing to meet and help in anyway they can. I would recommend Tecas Tech for DPT to anyone."
