"Career Services did an excellent job in their part and can help me to find jobs within my area. The school also prepared me what they taught me in Medical Coding and Billing which I like to do and it even prepared me for my externship, especially in insurance verification."

"I'm currently attending the northwest campus where i'm taking medical billing and coding. I'm only in module two with an awesome instructor Ms. Leal who has made this journey a tad bit easier. It's a lot to take in but she makes sure you understand before we move on to any other assignments. Also they offer night classes which work best for me since i have a full time job. It's a great school and I would recommend anyone to pursue a career from chcp."

"This school was and is perfect for me because I am able to take night classes and work during the day. All my teachers have been great and have been fun to be around and learn from. My program excites me and knowing that I can go into so many different fields lets me know I have some decisions to make."

"It is unfortunate to say that the idea of this place is much better than the execution. Very unprofessional staff expecting very professional students. Mandatory dress code requirements from easily the 50's. Natural hair colors, no visible tattoos, white only shoes... Etc. While I understand a uniform and promoting student professionalism -- if you are hired to work in an OR in Austin,Texas you would be hard-pressed to find any staff, surgeons included, without body art or modifications. Financial aid services were an absolute joke, as we're the lies told about the flexability of the program at enrollment. What started as 2 class days a week quickly escilated to 4 days of full time on campus classwork."

"First and foremost the program cost is extremely exspensive! You learn NOTHING! The staff is rude and very unprofessional... This school is strictly about taking students money by any means necessary. If you do enroll keep a watchful eye on your loans and grants they will try and scam you out of your disbursements! Financial aide lies constantly and the job performance is unacceptable! I have spoken with several former students who all said the same thing and I too am a victim! Do not waste your time or your money. Someone needs to report their asses to the TEA!!!!!"

I like to point out that Ms. Kornelia(Student advisor), Ms.Yolanda(externship administrator) and Ms. KaSandra (career services advisor) were so helpful throughout my school year. I had a wonderful year and they made it easier for me."

She provided me with information for dress for success which I loved. Moniqua stayed in contact with me after my intern and made sure I was working and in a comfortable working environment. "College wise, this is the best decision I've made. Everyone is extremely helpful and the program itself is extremely hands on. Being able to help improve the quality of life in others is satisfying and is something that I look forward to doing on a daily basis. The best thing about the CHCP Fort Worth is the culture, it is literally like a community where all the faculty and staff are willing to help with whatever need the students may have."

"Very good college. Everyone is helpful, there, from beginning to end as long as you’re responsible. Just be sure this is your preferred career as it can become strenuous, specially if you decide to take the online certification like I did. Other than that, ask and you shall receive, even with job placement after completion."

"From the very beginning the people at The College of Health Care Professions have been by my side the whole time. I will have to say that before I enrolled I tried very hard to enroll in the Medical and Billing Program at Houston Community College. I know this is not a review to bash another education institute but I had no help with getting enrolled or having someone to call me back with questions. I felt as if they did not care if I enrolled or not. The student advisors and the counselors were there when I needed them. And even after being out of school for close to 30 years, they treated me as if I was a freshman out of high school. I was encouraged and was called periodically to make sure I was heading in the right direction. I am almost sad that my time will end soon but I know that I am going to take what I have learned from CHCP into my career and strive to be the best."

"My Career Services advisor is Judy Morris. She has been absolutely amazing - and patient! Judy has given me the best tips on interviewing techniques and has really built up my confidence. Now that I am finishing up my externship, she has stayed in contact with me to help make sure that I am on track at my externship site and that I am up to date on my resume and ready to take the next step out in the real world! She has given me several places to apply for my new career and she is by my side to support me with any questions I have and to calm my nerves and keep my confidence up in spite of my fears."

"I started with as an online student in 2017 and graduated with my certification in Medical coding and billing in 2018. Then after I completed that program I went on to start and complete the MA program and I graduated with my certification in 2019. It gives me the best opportunity to work, take care of my child and continue my education to better my family. Soon i am to start again in January for my associate's and now not only am I a student and previous graduate, I am currently a ground instructor for the San Antonio south campus for Medical coding and billing. I refer my friends and family to this school and what they have to offer."

"Overall I graduated and am able to work in the field. Instructors were very knowledgeable in the material and were very good at teaching it as well. Organization is a little bit off. For the cost of tuition in comparison with other programs, it is very high and the reputation in the Houston area doesn’t help you in any way, it in fact hurts you at some facilities."
