"Obtaining my bachelors degree was very important, I would not be a teacher today in Texas if I had not gotten one. However, I teach high school math, so my major in History has not been applicable to my current job. It was not the institution's fault though, I was very unsure of what I wanted to do at that time in terms of a career, but I am very grateful I stuck it out and got my bachelors, like I said, I would not be where I am today without one."

"Tell us about your college experience.I would recommend UT Austin. It had multiple programs that I was a part of, which helped me decide what I wanted to do with my life and helped me make some money at the same time.Would you get the same degree if you could start over? No, instead of Biochem I would have done straight chemistry. What advice can you offer other students?Find and use the tutoring services BEFORE you need them, that way you don't find yourself in a predicament at the end of the year... and if the tutors know you, ya might get a job next year."

"I personally love this school. The teachers and staff here are great and very friendly. The environment of the campus is very welcoming and there are a wide variety of people of here. The classes are very manageable and there are tons of recreational things to do around here and a ton of student sponsored activities. It's a very nice place to move to and start the beginning of your new life."

"I would definitely recommend this university to any student and here are my reasons. Austin is so diverse that there's always a place for someone. UT has so many clubs, it's hard to pick which ones to join. The professors I've had so far are all great and know exactly what they're doing. My advisers are always so helpful every time I have a question or problem. You get to meet people from all over the country and the world. The academic work is challenging but fair and you get the best quality of education for your money."
