"Ranking in top 35 of MBA schools in the US by US News and World Report, the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas is one of the best values in the country. Along with an MBA, I will be earning a MS in Supply Chain Management. This school is ranked number 2 in the nation for this discipline. Due to tuition being set using tiers, one can achieve an MBA for around $40,000. Set in Richardson, the University of Texas at Dallas has a beautiful campus with everything reachable by walking. The campus also has various areas to spend nice Texas days outside to study or have group meetings. The professors and teaching assistants are what make this campus awesome. They are very willing to help you succeed in class and beyond. I have had a couple of instances when I email them and I receive replies within a couple of hours. Living in the Dallas metroplex can be difficult with commuters. This is what I see as the only con. For me to reach class on time, I must travel on toll roads after work, but on my way home, I can skip these."

"The classes are relatively small compared to undergraduate. This is definitely a pro because you bond with the other students and can have better and more frequent interaction with the professors. Even though the classes are small, there is definitely diversity of backgrounds in these classes. This brings a great wealth of information that is in addition to the actual academic value -- not to mention developing long-time friendships. I honestly can't think of a con to this school."

"The school is small so you definitely get that one on one attention with your professors which is a great benefit. Since the school is very academic driven I wish they would extend their library hours and offer more on campus resources such as more restaurants to eat at."

"The Cohort MBA program (Full-time) gives me awesome experience during past 15 months. I will highly recommend full-time MBA program of UT Dallas to my friends if they ask me my advice about how to choose their school."

"I like the life in UTD. The beautiful scenery and friendly faculty bring me a lot of happiness. It was my first year in UTD, I'm not sure if the education quality was as high as it said, but I like the atmosphere in every class. One little disappointment, sometimes it is really inconvenient for students who live in somewhere off campus."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the MBA program. Professors are always accessible and helpful in guiding students as they venture into a new career path. The career center is extremely helpful and the school has great relationships with the most prestigious employers in the DFW metroplex."

"pros, 1.As cohort MBA, you can enjoy much more advantages than other masters concerning education and career support. 2. As it is stated on the official website, it is a small program(67 of Cohort 2015) with big benefit. We are more closely connected with second year students, alumni and faculty. 3. Dallas's strong economy. Most all of international students can find a job if they wish, not to mention local students. 4. All the courses are quite practical, prepare us for future work. 5. not expensive living here. 6. most students can receive some scholarship, although rarely anyone can get full scholarship. 7. you only need to finish minimum 10 credits to get a dual degree in school of management. Cons, 1. heavy course load, have to finish 53 credits in 16 months. 2. most graduates will work in texas, very little reputation outside Texas."

"Pros: Professors and faculty are very accessible and more than willing to help in any way possible. The help could be in the form of talking about the class, to career advice, to introducing you to their own personal network of contacts. Many of the professors have real world experience which is helpful in applying what is being taught. Cons: Part time MBA students find it difficult to take advantage of various career-centered activities hosted by the school as they are in the middle of the work day. There are many ESL students which can add a challenge to group projects."

"I found that the MBA program at UT-Dallas has provided me with the skills to be a strategic leader and to think outside of the box. That being said, The program is diluted with international students that frankly just do not care about learning. Almost all have little to no experience and ARE NOT there to develop themselves. In the end UTD allows these students to graduate with a such a little knowledge base that it makes me question the value of a UTD MBA. If I could do it all over again I would have chosen another program."

"Pros: UT Dallas's School of Management has a very strong curriculum with lots of concentrations to choose from. Its flexibility of selecting between online and on-campus classes is invaluable for people who need to travel for customer meetings and often with short notice. UT Dallas is in the center of one of the top business hubs in the U.S. and I think as more top employers are moving into the area that the UT Dallas MBA program reputation will continue to go up. Cons: UT Dallas is a relatively newly established school and its brand is not well recognized outside the DFW area yet. However, given the difference in cost between UT Dallas's tuition and any of those top schools including those offering Dallas-based MBA programs, I think UT Dallas has an immediate competitive advantage in terms of return on investment. It is a matter of time (hopefully less than 10 years) before the school name is widely recognized, and I hope to see it grow faster than that. The UT Dallas JSOM Career Center should more actively target top employers (preferably the Forbes list)."

"The largest benefit of being able to take classes online, is that I have power over my schedule. It would be nice if there were more financial aid opportunities. Even though I take classes online, the professors use creative techniques to make each student feel like part of the classroom. I was surprised at how much collaboration is done through online classes using the latest in technology. I believe that this is the way we will learn in the not so distant future, and UTD will be at the forefront of this movement."

"Pros: UT Dallas's Full-Time MBA program is great value for cost to domestic/international students as well as substantial scholarship but a fair price to those paying sticker price. Their network in Dallas is excellent, and will continue to grow more competitive with SMU as UTD rises in the MBA rankings. I've found my classmates to not only be diverse in experience, nationality, and personality, but also found they are professional, friendly, and aspire toward achievement. Cons: It's a relatively new player as a top 40-50 Full-Time MBA program, so the network outside of Dallas and outside Texas still needs to grow. For that reason, it might not be the right choice (for now) if you want to become an investment banker on Wall Street. While I think it's good practice for real world situations, it's fair to disclose that you may participate on teams with those who have some proficiency but are not fully fluent in English (though I've seen rapid language learning in less than a full first semester.)"

"Pros: 1. Program requires no weekend classes 2. Classmates are bright and competitive Cons: 1. School makes limited use of technology to support students that miss class due to travel for work 2. Faculty teaching aptitude is hit or miss"
