"UT Dallas is overall a great school. Academically it is top tier and the quality of the instructors are amazing. Socially it is not necessarily a "party school", but there are a lot of student organizations that can meet most people's interests. Essentially, you get out what you put in."

"UTD provides a great environment for academics but is lacking when it comes to having a social community. Many students seem reserved and/or stick to their own cliques. In regards to the education, I would say it is one of the best public education universities and I feel it helped prepare me for my career."

"The school is perfectly located in a suburb of Dallas. It was nearby everything that Dallas had to offer. The students population was diverse and safe. The campus was was undergoing renovation and updating making it into a beautiful campus. I enjoyed my years there and would recommend it to anyone."

"A growing campus that is continuously improving. The constant construction while I was attending (which was a lot worse then than it is now) was a little annoying and a little bit of a hindrance but the results have been worth it so far. Future students will be attending a much better campus with much better facilities than current alumni. I believe, in time, all current alumni will be proud to say they graduated from this institution. However, one thing that is a little concerning is the parking situation, which only seems to be getting worse with the increased construction and expansion. The other side to this is that the school is shifting from an almost exclusive commuter school to one with a tremendous increase in students living on or very close to campus. This should hopefully alleviate the parking issues somewhat and make it less of a problem."

"Great school with great professors and large variety of classes available. It is located in a safe, new development area of Dallas. Campus continues to grow. Recommend visiting the campus. You will be surprised! Students focus on gaining good education & not on sports."
