"I am currently getting my MS in Industrial Management and my experience at UT Tyler has been very good so far. Though it is a relatively small school, it has state-of-art technology and a low student-teacher ratio, which allows you to build a good understanding with faculty members; not to mention it is part of the giant UT system. The Graduate School at UT Tyler tries its level best to provide New Graduate Fellowships to most of the applicants/returning students, which makes the tuition fees very less (around $4k per semester) and arranges job fairs to enable students get jobs as soon as they graduate. If you are looking to get your Masters degree in management, UT Tyler is your best bet!"

"The University of Texas at Tyler has a high success rate with a student-to-faculty ratio that encourages learning on a personal level. The instructors I have had so far are timely in their feedback and very helpful when you need them, but you should not expect an immediate response. I have found the online approach to learning to be very usable and accessible."

"Excellent college with small class sizes. It was easy to get the help you needed. The education department was top notch. The way in which they constantly gave you feedback was incredible. They put you into real classrooms to observe and they would give you a chance to teach in those classes and to students on campus. Your adviser was great in being there for you until you were able to land that first job after graduation."

"Overall the University of Texas at Tyler nursing school is a good school. There are a few problems as far as organization and busy work. There were times it seemed that professors were scrambling to find places to send you to clinicals and there would be last minute changes. Having a work life balance can be challenging while in nursing school. However, UT Tyler prepares you for the NCLEX. They try their hardest to put you in different clinical situations so you are prepared when you graduate. My impression of some of the professors is they have many students they are trying to teach, so they have difficulty giving you one on one help. This can be seen as a good and bad thing. It makes you more prepared and independent. They also focus on leadership in nursing. This is good or students when they want to advance their career!"
