"Toxic environment Toxic Instructors so many other options that are inexpensive. It is not in expensive if you have to retake classes due to Toxicity. Look at other options. Low ranked you get what you pay for buyer beware it also could make you take longer"

"If I could leave zero stars I would. I took a majority of course when doing my associates for transfer. At my original school the courses state UC and USC eligible for transfer. The course description matching the course description at UTPB. However, they will not honor the course because the class is not labeled (numbered) the same as UTPBs. I've had 2 advisors in 1 year and each have given me a different degree plan, and lacked updating it with courses I took at UTPB. The advisor I currently have told me I didn't need a class and then after dropping it came back and said I actually did need the class. I have reached out to the Dean several times and am now being ignored after our meeting 3 weeks ago to find out why my classes aren't transferring and when I could actually graduate. This school is not worth the time and energy. There's a reason it's a cheaper UT school. I would not recommend!"

"TERRIBLE! GO TO TEXAS A&M CENTRAL OR LSU better education at same cost THIS IS A TERRIBLE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL SCHOOL Professors are incentivized with lumo sum payment to do less for same amount. They did not want to teach. This is one step from a degree mill"

"Great deal for a state school MBA in one year's time. Couple classes had tedious homework, while the rest were very manageable. Few hiccups with scheduling but they were flexible. I have to write more to get this review to be long enough. Overall, excellent value."

"I attended UTPB Online 2014-2016. Overall, my experience was pleasant. My academic adviser as well as various professors were very supportive. I majored in Communications and minored in Sociology; I believe that the courses were rigorous and engaging. The only problem I encountered (on multiple occasions) was accuracy and politeness with the representatives in the Financial Aid Department. Almost every time I contacted them, they curt and gave me wrong answers. I had to contact the supervisor at least three times to get me requests resolved.I appreciate the Falcon Promise they offered/provided to me. Due to the fact that I was considered low-income, combined with my GPA, The Falcon Promise covered any tuition and fees that my grants did not cover. This lifted a heavy burden off my shoulders."

"Dr. B. and Dr. S. are the most unprofessional instructors. They don't communicate well with their students, their expectations in their courses are extremely unrealistic, and there is no level of concern for students and their standing with the university. They do not post grades in a timely fashion and do not like being questioned on policies."

"The Online MBA program at UTPB is amazing! It starts with the Admissions department and continues on to the professors themselves. They make the experience very personable and exciting. They are they for you every step of the way! The online course structure flows smoothly and all the courses are student-paced. This makes it SO easy to schedule your studies around work, family, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone looking to earn their MBA."

"Well, I studied in Monterrey, Mexico in Centro de Estudios Universitarios. My university was small but that let the groups to be small and better served by teachers. I felt that the teachers could paid closer attention to the student's needs. Our groups were small, with a maximum of 25 students. I feel very proud of my University which gave me the tools I needed to do what I do right now, teacher."

"I couldn't imagine getting my Biology degree anywhere else. The quality of the instructors is unmatched in my opinion. I would definitely recommend UTPB if you are pursuing a degree in the medical field or want a Biology degree. The price for this quality of education is great and the low teacher to student ratio makes it all worth while."

"The University of Texas of the Permian Basin provided a great teacher to student ratio which made learning from instructors a more personal and sincere experience. The Biology program was extremely challenging but still prepared me with the knowledge needed for Physician Assistant school. My two most influential instructors were Dr. Richard Douglas Spence and Dr. Doug Henderson. Both in their own way challenged me to not only push myself further than I thought I could go, but also helped me achieve the confidence necessary to get into Physician Assistant school. Overall, I am so happy to be a UTPB Alumni and would definitely recommend the Biology program especially for all those pursuing the medical field."

"One good side is most of the professors are helpful and supportive. They are willing to go an extra mile to reach out to the students. They are prompt in answering student queries and clarifications. The downside is inefficient staff, slow in processing student-related matters and documents. I need to keep on making a follow-up to get my request done."

"I think that the pros of this graduate program are the different types of courses that are offered and what a student can learn from them. There are also numerous opportunities for networking with people who are interested in the teaching field which is something that I want to get into. The cons of the graduate program is that though there are different types of courses, they are only 3 or 4 offered a semester for the English program. Another con is the lack of financial aid for the summer semesters."

"I am currently taking online courses while working as a full time teacher. I knew it was going to be intense but some classes are rediculously intense. There are some professors who don't think about those students who have a full time job. This program is supposed to be for the ones who are already educators. They are very hard and demanding. It is not easy to keep up with assignments. The workload was not what the website was saying. Otherwise, there is great support and it is a great program if you are good at managing your time and spending hours and hours after work and counless of weekends."
