"The seven week courses sometimes consisted of one book, with one chapter to read each week plus a book report. There were no lectures or class discussions to put content into context. One professor uploaded five minute videos occassionally that literally consisted of her reading verbatim from PowerPoint slides. My policy analysis course somehow managed to fail to teach us how to conduct a policy analysis. Professors were unresponsive and unprepared for weekly modules. Sometimes, the instructions for an assignment would be provided the day before it was due. The TAs likewise were unresponsive and for the capstone course, completely unavailable."

"The Masters in Public Administration Program has provided me with excellent leadership, planning, research, budgeting, problem-solving and analytical skills required to be an effective Public Administrator. Most courses provide\ direction on how the course content could be applied to real-life work settings through case studies and actual community work performed on behalf of municipalities, rural farmers and non-profit organizations. All professors are well-versed in Public Administration content and activities. The professors also provide clear and informative lectures. Instead of a thesis, students are required to complete a Capstone Course in which they utilize all the knowledge and skills acquired in the program to a real-life project. The program has thoroughly prepared me for life as a Public Administrator."

"This program has provided me with the knowledge I need to become a better leader. The con of this program is the cost and that I had to apply for students loans."

"The Pros for this graduate program is that its accelerated and its completely online. I am a mother of a 2 year old hence I cannot be in a classroom after a full time shift at work and commuting 2 hours round trip. Plus, Edingburg is a ways from Port Isabel where I reside at the moment. This program will enhance my skills to be a better employee, and definitely more marketable. I do not see any Cons as of yet, and look forward to finding none."
