"Very minimal support from professors and staff. Has great facilities in a wonderful city, yet student's should be aware that they will be on their own at Jefferson"

"Pros: It's a great program from a respectable university. The professors are great and very helpful too. Cons: There's no financial support for Master's students, and on top of that the cost of living + surviving is extremely expensive."

"I feel that Jefferson Medical College is a great place to go to medical school. All of the material is presented in a clinically-relevant fashion. The curriculum set-up is very conducive to time management and maintenance of a social life. All of the students are incredibly nice, helpful, and passionate. Course management by the administration can be a bit disorganized at times, however. Additionally, I wish that JMC would make better use of available technology for some courses."

"Thomas Jefferson is a renown university and their Occupational Therapy program is one of the best in the entire nation. I believe it is one of the best places to receive an education and they prepare their students very well for their future careers. With such a great program, comes the financial issue; since TJU is such a highly ranked school, it is very competitive and comes with many expenses."

"Choosing to join the Occupational Therapy program at Thomas Jefferson University is more than just joining a prestigious name and a strong network. The OT program provides you with not only unique experiences, but also state of the art professors who are constantly striving to add more to the field of Occupational Therapy. Fellow classmates are ready to support one another as they begin this journey to enter the professional field. The location of this program lands you in the center of a busy city that, with the growth of the baby boomers, are craving more Occupational Therapists. This in demand profession topped with a program that will give you once in a lifetime opportunities makes Thomas Jefferson University a top competitor for OT students everywhere. Joining the Occupational Therapy family at TJU will help me grow professionally and personally while providing me with an experience unlike any other."

"Faculty were always available for questions or just to discuss further what we talked about in class. Workload was sufficient for the degree. I completed my coursework in December 1999 and was overall very pleased with my education. I'm very proud to say that I was one of 22 students in the Master's degree program back then - and when asked, I say I graduated from Jefferson with a Master's in OT and people are impressed. It's a great school."

"Jefferson's facilities are incredibly old and worn out. Their faculty is interested and helpful for the most part. The classes are relatively easy if you have a science background and they professors are flexible and willing to help with career moves. You can usually find a thesis project in a lab or otherwise."

"Jefferson is a smaller school, which gives students more hands-on experience and one-on-one attention from the professors. Professors are all extrememly knowledgeable and well-connected. Many are willing to have students shadow them or help connect students with other colleagues in the field."
