"The pros are that the program is very hands on and it allows you access to the Federal Court System across the street."

"Reasonable price for a private grad school. Profs are pretty good and knowledgable in their subject they are teaching. Campus is in a nice area with lots of public transportation."

"The pros to my graduate program is the diverse backgrounds and the accessibility to faculty. They assist you through the educational track and finding Internships or employment. It is in the heart of midtown. There is so much to do in that area. You are easily influenced by professors. The professors can hold your attention during class. They will ensure that you are equipped to go out into the field of your choice and know what you are talking about. The cons are: There is no student life on campus. There are no free computer stations throughout the school. There is a delay in processing certain paperwork. The school is still implementing new services and social things that will improve student participation. The school lacks a disconnect with the students voices. The hours are not like typical late campus hours. The buildings and library close at 10pm the latest. So if you are a night crawler when it comes to you work, you have to take it to starbucks! Especially if you can not focus in your house."

"The classes are okay but some of the professors are not the greatest. Overall I feel I am receiving a good education and the scholarship money they give away is fair."

"I think that the pros of this college are that they give an opportunity to students that are truly passionate about the career field they are entering, but do not necessarily earn straight A's through their undergraduate programs. However, being a small school, there is less funding to provide some of the necessary things needed to run a successful program."

  • Degree: Occupational Therapy
"The Occupational Therapy Program is accelerated, causing the work load to be increased greatly, yet allowing you to complete the program within two years. The school in Nevada is all within 1 building allowing all you resources to be accessible and convenient. The Henderson community is very quiet yet close to Vegas to experience community life. The class sizes are small and the faculty is always available, and helpful."

"Touro Law Center is a great school All the professors and deans truly care about the student body. They go the extra mile to help you and lead you in the right direction. Campus has no housing but is located directly across the street from both the State and Federal courthouses which makes networking very convenient. Tuition is quite high compared to other law schools however, and unfortunately since Touro is so new their reputation is not the greatest within the legal community. Personally, I am proud to be part of the Touro family and I know that I am receiving a competent legal education."

  • Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
"The benefits of my graduate program in speech-language pathology would be the level of assistance and support of faculty and students. Everyone is ready, willing, and able to assist others. The faculty, clinic, and resources are available in one building which makes the graduate program extremely organized compared to most others. Although I love this program and I am highly impressed with the school, the expense of housing was a downfall. Due to the high expense of nearby campus housing, I was forced to get an apartment outside of Brooklyn. The fee per semester for campus housing is exceedingly high and does not offer the option to exclude a meal plan."

"The staff and classmates are very supportive. It is a diverse group so I interact with people of different cultures. After 7 years of receiving my B.A. in Psychology I decided to enroll in School Counseling. I imagined it to be a challenge for me but it wasn't because I enjoyed the classes. I presently have a 4.0 GPA. I continue to work hard to ensure my GPA remains the same."

"This school, unlike many other law schools in the area, looks at the overall person to award acceptance and financial aid, which is one of the best things I like about this school."

"I am currently in the PA program. The school's location is ideal if you like living in NYC. The program is going through a lot of administrative changes, but I am glad I was accepted and given the opportunity to follow my dream to become a physician assistant."

"This graduate program, I feel, is almost perfectly geared to my expectations and requirements. Since Touro College is owned by Jewish people, I felt as a Jewish person that the scheduling (especially the Jewish Holidays scheduling) of the program is very beneficial for me. Another excellent aspect about this graduate school is the fact that all lessons are recorded and can be replayed at any time so that if I have to miss a class, I can watch it at any time! I don't really have any cons about the school except for the fact that they're located in the heart of Harlem and it's a bit scary to go back and forth to school during late hours."
