"My years at Touro University Nevada were a formative time for me in both my personal and professional development. I loved belonging to a smaller, private institution consisting mainly of programs in the health and medical field. My cohort consisted of approximately 36 people, allowing for relationship building and collaboration, and never feeling like just a “number” within a degree program. Faculty had a wide range of clinical expertise and backgrounds in my field, contributing to the development of my interests and areas of practice I would eventually find myself in or at least explore out of curiosity. Cohorts in other departments were also reasonably sized opening up opportunities to mingle with other disciplines; however I would have liked to have experienced more opportunities and integration into my overall curriculum, as interdisciplinary practice is critical in the real world."

"Touro is a tight knit community. The professors are really invested in our success because they have an open door policy and students can come to them for questions."

"The instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. I was disappointed to find that we are the only nursing school that does not have a preceptorship."
