"At the time of my attendance, the school was called Towson State University. I was originally an Audiology major. The school changed the program requirements so much that I decided to pursue my minor area of focus, Psychology. In retrospect, it was a perfect move. The Psychology department was engaging, challenging and timely. The assignments were thorugh provoking and relevant. The skills and knowledge I obtained servced me well throughout my life thus far. I was commuting, working student, Off-Campus housing was amazing and affordable. I was not heavily involved in athletics or social activities, however, my classmates raved about these opportunities. I have been happy with the reputation of my college choice as well. Never had to feel there was a negative stigma associated with it. Always proud to state I was a Towson Graduate. I did not pursue my graduate degree there because I live too far away now and it would not be possible to make the commute."

"Earning a bachelors degree at Towson University was a well rounded experience. The class sizes for those pursuing psychology were small and personal, meaning you had a better chance at getting to know your college professors. The psychology degree also provided a variety of classes that made it easier to be more well-rounded once the program was over. The campus environment was nice and the demographics of the school helped Towson to be a "salad bowl" of people all coming together with different views and ideas."

"With Towson being a liberal arts college, you have the opportunity to explore many different paths to see what your interests are and I took full advantage of that. I took an array of classes that helped me truly find what I was passionate about. Most of the professors look out for you and help you cultivate your potential."

"Towson was and is an awesome school! Not only was there so much to do around town and in Towson, but there was always something going on around campus! There's a lot of student support from faculty and professors. Among students there's a community feel that really makes the experience. I had emergency knee surgery in the middle of the semester and from faculty to students and professors everyone was so helpful with everything from opening doors to just being understanding. I wouldn't change my undergraduate career in anyway!"

"While I did not live on campus, Towson was still a familiar and friendly place to be. I spent most of my days on campus and was able to make friends in classes easily. I had many knowledgeable professors that were passionate about their field of study."

"The campus life at Towson is great! There are tons of organizations to join. There is something there for everyone, from anime to modeling teams. The community surrounding the university is an ideal college town filled with bars and cheap but great food. There is a major mall in walking distance for those who need to work throughout the semester as well. It is kind of hard to get the classes you need, so be on top of enrolling on the day it opens for you. Always go with your gut, don't take a class just because an adviser says it could be useful. Remember you're paying for the class not them. Utilize your resources as well, career center, writing center and the tutoring center. Teachers LOVE when you come to office hours, it shows you actually care about your grade and progress."

"Towson is an excellent school in an excellent location. They are working towards making the school more sustainable and modern, which is always great. Nearby mall allows for a city, busy feel within the county. Overall great institution and location."

"The school was fairly small and that's what appealed to me. It's cozy and not so big that it overwhelms you."
