"This school is a joke ! You're better off going to a community college for more than half the price. They say they help you find a career when in all reality all they do is put your resume on career builder. I invested so much time and money into a piece of crap school and it was all for nothing ! Since this school has such bad reviews it's hard to find a job when employer's have a bad image in their head about the school you attended. And if you try and drop out you still have to pay back all your loans. Don't do what I did and attend this horrible place they call a career building school. It's just the worst. I dont have words for how bad this school is. "

"I attended UEI back when it used to be ANTHEM college. I am warning everyone who is even considering coming to this school PLEASE DONT! They will rob you blind and fill you with empty promises. I have been out of school for months with no job and THOUSANDS in debt. I have had to resort to pawning my own things for my tuiton all because I put all my faith in this school. There is no job and there is no help. All they do is put your resume up on careerbuilder and leave you to drown in your monthly bills. Please. Learn from my BIG mistake. Do not come here."

"I understand where many of the people are coming from the school seems like a scam. The person I talked to said this school was great and I was going to be out quick ... I could have gone to city college and take the course there and I would be out in the same amount of time. The class is always running out of supplies. Some of the instructors are rude and harass the students. I personally get harassed by my instructor and I told her boss and all that was said to me was that's just the way she is. The school is also in shambles and unsanitary. There are rodents in the ceiling and there are many roaches at the school."

"Career colleges tend to be hack/scam schools. They tend not to be accredited, say you go out of state the cetificate/diploma is near useless. The program I was signed in would take about 8 months to complete for the cost of $16,000+ usd Anyone can do that in a community college for less or no cost, given you keep your grades up to qualify for scholars and/or FAFSA (financial aide). This scam school is only good at putting most students in debt. If you're lucky to get a job it'll still be minimum. I was at the San Marcos, CA location, both enrollment officer and instructor were very rude. I 'm relived I happened to cancel a day before my "trial" period ended, the enrollment officer was upset and belittling me when I showed up to his office with the signed paper of cancellation."

"Let me just start off by saying I had a really good instructor who challenged and motivated us to the best of our abilities that's the only good thing I will say I went to the riverside, CA campus I have been passionate about the medical field my whole life, I was an A student, got awarded Ambassador for my 3.7 GPA, had perfect attendance and I cannot find a job for my life and UEI hasn't helped me an ounce in fact they like to text me once in a while to tell me I need to try harder I am now burred in debt that I can't afford and I am too scared to go back to school to fall in more debt and possibly be jobless again. When I first started at this school they told me I would be making $18.00 an hour when they found me a job after school so let me set that straight if you do get a job after the MA program you will only make minimum wage ($9.00/hour) but most facilities want an experienced MA and BILINGUAL. You are better off getting a minimum wage job at McDonald's because at least you won't be in debt $13,000. Do not go to this school, save yourself, they don't help you, all they want is YOUR MONEY, you will be on your ass, paying hundreds of dollars a month on a loan you took out to have NO job. Take it from me I worked my ass off to have good grades, and good attendance and I still don't have a job and out of the hundreds of people I graduated with in the same program I only know of TWO people that have a job as an MA. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A CAREER THAT IS IN DEMAND.. YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO A COMMUNITY COLLEGE."

"I attended the UEI College campus in san bernardino during the summer of 2011 and finished the the medical assistant program in the spring time of 2012. I have to say that the two teachers that I was placed with were excellent instructors, they knew the material like the back of their hand. I was impressed with how much they both knew, even though they both worked in different portions of the medical field. Every teacher has a weakness so I can't say now which one was my favorite. The opposite can be said about the career services! I can't believe how hard it was to try to contact one particular person, it was like she was gone almost every single day of the week. I wish I could say something more positive about the faculty, however, from my personal experience they were trash and only thought about money. Which is okay but if you don't do your job right your chances of getting chopped from the workforce is higher than the others. I do not recommend attending any classes at UEI College unless you have an associates degree already and you have a part time job to save up money to pay your student loans. Because most employers want their employees to have at least some prior education besides a high school diploma and a diploma of completion form this college.Oh, If you're planing on becoming a medical assistant I highly suggest that you brush up on spanish and some other foreign language."

"I was a student at UEI COLLEGE San Marcos campus , I was a 4.0 student . I re-entered after an LOA , and was told that i could start, i only had three mods left, and financial services would be taking care of everything so that my time there would count but they did not and they said that it did not matter if I was getting A's and had a 4.0 none of my time attending school would count, and I attended approximately two mods . So I stopped attending. I don't agree with the way they have handled my situation. They will not let me re-enter because they are understaffed. I don't understand why my education can not be furthered because of their negligence and them being understaffed. I would hope and appreciate if someone from corporate contacts me so we can have a talk, because they are very hard to get a hold of . Thank you and I'm sorry for the bad review but I'm really disappointed with UEI COLLEGE SAN MARCOS CAMPUS!! - Olga Gomez Olga.gomez710@Yahoo.com"
