"This was a massive waste of $18,300 and a year of my time. I graduated in 2014, and have been working for over a year at $9 an hour. I made more than that before. The company is a joke, and even with AAPC certification it is still nearly impossible to get a job in this field that pays what they promise you. When I went in I was assured I would START at $13 an hour, and make more from there. I am seriously considering going back to retail and throwing away the huge amount of money I have spent on this waste of time career."

"I was not happy with the school because I was not give any job search assistance. The school basically tells you anything you want to hear just to get you enrolled. No help at all, go to a JC. The classes will be less expensive and you won't have to take out a student loan for thousands of dollars."

"Be careful when signing up that this is the right course for you. I was talked into taking this course when the course I really wanted was the Medical Assistant program and was not being offered until next year. I approached the school on three different occasions after starting the medical and insurance billing course about my concerns that I was not in the right program. This is a very expensive college and it was a costly mistake for me. I changed schools to do the Medical Assistant course."

"This was the worst financial decision of my life. As a single mother, I took this course in the hopes of providing a better life for me and my son. What it turned out to be was a huge financial liability that I will be paying for the rest of my life. My instructor, while knowledgeable and well established in the medical billing field, spent the majority of the instruction time talking about her family, focusing her attention on a married man who did not return her affections, allowed her "favorite" students to get away with anything and everything in class and would rather read what was on the overhead projector than actually teach what we really needed to make a career in this field. Personally, she felt threatened by me and used her relationship with others to wage a damaging campaign against me. The last two months of my time in her classroom were tough; no one would speak to me and she did not help in my transition to the real world. In short, I learned basically nothing in her class and three years later have not found a job in the medical billing and coding profession. The placement staff at UEI college is a huge joke. They are unprepared and have no real leads on where to place their graduating students. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL; YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY"
