"Attending UEI has significantly changed my life. I went from an everyday general worker to facilitating a lucrative career as an electrician throughout my time here I learned much for my educators and had extreme support from the staff so much so that now we are as family and I return to the school often just to tell everyone how well I am doing in the field again attending UEI has allowed me to create a career path to sustain my family and do so quickly within a year. I highly recommend anyone looking to change their life rapidly to attend UEI and educate themselves to better protect their family and increase their financial goals"

"Definitely a place where you can learn a lot and make connections. Something I learned is that if you apply yourself and truly pay attention to what is taught, you’ll learn things that will stick to you no matter how long after you graduate. I was part of the Auto Tech Program and I applied myself as much as possible, both online and in lab and I know that everything I learned will stick to me, especially because of my instructor."

"I am a parent of a young adult who was AGGRESSIVELY pushed into signing up for HVAC school by an overbearing sales pitch that insisted my son needed to sign up before the classes are full KNOWING that the program has continuous rolling admission. As a mom I am Disgusted by these tactics used with my son. Shame on you, UEI for scamming young adults. They promise opportunities for job placement and that's an absolute joke. Spare your money, do your research!!!"

The security guards are also very friendly, but strict about their job. Makes everyone feel safe and comfortable."

"I enrolled at UEI expecting hands-on technical training that would prepare me for real-world electrical work. What I experienced instead was a disappointing and costly lesson in poor instruction and misleading recruitment. The biggest issue was the lack of functioning equipment and tools for hands-on labs. For a trade program that advertises practical training, students were often left without proper materials to actually practice the skills being taught. Labs felt rushed, incomplete, or purely theoretical because the tools simply weren’t there.Instruction quality was another major letdown. Instead of engaged instructors teaching from experience, much of the “learning” consisted of YouTube videos played in class. There was little interaction, little explanation beyond what the video already provided, and minimal effort to tailor instruction to student questions or skill levels. This is not what students are paying tens of thousands of dollars for.Safety was treated carelessly. I clearly remember being in an Intro to Safety class where students were not provided PPE. That alone should raise serious concerns about how seriously this institution takes student well-being and industry standards.Recruitment was where things crossed the line. UEI made promises about career readiness, job prospects, and value that did not match reality. The enrollment process felt predatory, designed to get students signed up and locked into debt rather than fully informed about better alternatives like apprenticeships or union pathways.Looking back, I could have saved over $21,000 and gone straight into pursuing an apprenticeship — gaining real experience, real mentorship, and real credibility without the debt.I strongly encourage anyone considering UEI to research apprenticeships, trade unions, or community college programs before committing. Once you sign, the reality is very different from the sales pitch."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️UEI College – HVAC ProgramWalking into UEI College at 36 years old was one of the scariest—and best—decisions I’ve ever made. I was nervous, unsure, and honestly didn’t know if I could do it. But from day one, UEI made me feel like I belonged. To me, UEI doesn’t just stand for a name—it means Understanding Everyone Is Important. And they truly live up to that.In my HVAC class, I’ve been given the opportunity to shine. The instructors are supportive, the classmates feel like family, and the energy in the building is all about growth and encouragement. It’s not just a school—it’s a community that lifts you up and pushes you to be your best.Big shout-out to my instructors Terrence and Ali—they’re the real deal. They break things down so we actually understand it, and they push us to be better every day. Whether it’s wiring, airflow, or advanced calibration, they make sure we’re not just learning—we’re mastering it.Also, Rita is absolutely amazing. She always makes sure we have everything we need and never lets anyone feel left behind. And Shane—thank you for being another rock in this school. You’re always checking in, making sure we’re good, and it means a lot. And Eric, our security guard—you go above and beyond. You don’t just keep us safe, you walk teachers to their cars and make sure everyone feels protected. That’s real care, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.Time is flying by, and I’m working hard to make it onto the President’s List. I never thought I’d be chasing academic honors, but here I am—motivated, focused, and proud. UEI gave me the keys to open doors I didn’t even know existed. Thank you for believing in me and helping me believe in myself. If you’re scared to take that first step, just know: UEI will walk with you every step of the way. This experience has changed my life. I'm not just building a career-I'm building confidence, purpose, and a future I can be proud of. And when I graduate, I won't just walk across that stage-I'll walk through every door UEl helped me unlock."

"I attended this school last year around march 2024. I paid through it all, passed every course and graduated expecting my diploma like I was promised. Never got it. They told me to be current with my payments then I’d receive it and they lied. Still nothing."

""Veterans", Think Twice Before Enrolling at UEl College. As a veteran attending this school using GI Bill benefits, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. My experience at UEl College has been frustrating and disappointing. The weekly schedule includes labs two days a week and virtual sessions two days a week. However, veterans are expected to attend every lab and virtual day (in person), regardless of the actual instructional value, during the non lab days you sit in a classroom for 6 hours doing nothing. It's better to be a regular student because the hybrid schedule works in your favor. Despite this full-time commitment, you won't receive your full Gl Bill housing allowance (BAH) and you get paid when the school wants you to get paid.Classes run for six hours during lab days, Monday through Friday. The program feels more like you're checking a box than actually gaining knowledge. The school only cares that students show up & getting a job in the trade, because high attendance numbers make the college look good on paper-not because students are actually learning or working. When concerns are raised, staff provide no real help. They simply say, "That's what the VA or government requires," and push responsibility elsewhere. There's no advocacy or flexibility, and it's clear that veterans are treated like a funding source, not students. On top of that, if your attendance drops below 75% even slightly you lose eligibility for grants, with no warning or support.Ul College does not respect veterans' time, benefits, or service. Save yourself the frustration and look for a school that truly supports your success."

"I am currently in my 7th month of there Electrical Technician class. We have had multiple schematics and ladder diagrams that are written wrong and we have to trouble shoot them in class to get them to work. We have issues with not having enough supplies to complete objectives on the syllabus. We can't download our books that we pay for and loose access to them 3 months after graduation. There is no communication between administrators and instructors. I have had problems where an instructor will tell me one thing and and then admin asks me why the instructor told me that. I am just now finding out that I was supposed to take a first aid class in my first 3 months that I now have to make extra time to take the course. I have talked to Nursing students here as well and they report even worse problems. Definitely read the reviews before you sign your papers."
