"The biological sciences degree at The University at Buffalo is an intense and rigorous course that required dedication and hard work, but it was worth it. Many of the classes that are required have high enrollment numbers and it is easy to get lost in the crowd, but the professors are wonderful and truly care about each student and their college career. If you reach out to the professors to get help and get to know them, they will make a huge difference in your learning experience. I have past professors that I still keep in touch with regularly for academic advice, and every professor I have had has encouraged me to pursue my dreams. The program will test your skills but I feel it has prepared me to be successful in medical school."

"The University at Buffalo is a good school to go to to get a great education. From the professors to the students, everyone wants to help you succeed. The classes are organized nicely and are taught by professionals who are truly passionate about the topic in which they are teaching. UB provides a great learning environment supplemented by an easily accessible campus, many student life activities, and many opportunities to develop professionally in order to prepare you for a future career. I feel that my four years here were completely worthwhile and have allowed me to learn more about myself including my goals and passions, as well as prepare me for my future career. I would recommend UB to anyone who is interested!"

"The University at Buffalo provides a strong foundation in each of the majors offered at their school. In addition, there are many opportunities to become involved in undergraduate research, attend academic conferences, publish manuscripts, and gain the necessary skills to create a strong curriculum vitae when applying for graduate studies."

"As a student of the University at Buffalo School of Law I expect the best methods of instruction from my professors. I have experienced nothing short of the best. The school makes it a point to ensure the first-year students are paired with the best instructors for the introductory courses. The writing course is mandatory and they push you hard, but also go over any mistakes you make to help you better understand the writing style of the legal world. The administration is welcoming and has an open door policy for any student seeking assistance beyond the classroom. Not only does the school care about academic success, but they spend time helping students chart a course to success. This is evident through the work the career services department plays in helping students seek scholarships, internships, externship, clinical courses and careers pot graduation. I highly recommend this institution to all students interested and ready for a rigorous, but rewarding academic journey."

"The orientation for new students to the program discussed how few jobs there are in the field (not exactly a good way to boost morale). Good paying jobs do exist, but are, albeit, not local, and may take a few years of lesser work experiences to obtain. Career placement services were almost non-existent at U.B. (or inefficient, not applicable, or generally indifferent), and that appeared to be a campus-wide issue, not just one with my department. This degree is manageable for working professionals, and there are plenty of internships in the area. The faculty are knowledgeable. The greatest issue is simply finding a good paying job after graduating. Your chances are better with most other degrees, unless you have another specialization to combine with the M.S. (which was an M.L.S. when I attended), and/or you are willing to leave the area for the right opportunity."

"UB provided me with a well rounded architecture education. I feel confident in my internships as well as moving forward in my graduate career. The facilities and services provided are far better than other schools I looked at. They get visiting speakers and professors from all over the world with all sorts of different interests and backgrounds."
