"This program is very competitive but I'm happy I attended this school. It's very in depth and it prepares you for the real world of nursing. It is a privilege to apply for jobs and put that you graduated from UAMS. Will definitely apply to graduate school."

"Good education, but still stuck in the stone ages once it comes to administrative issues."

"UAMS is a great school to attend for any program. The pharmacy program is definitely worth all of the hard work and effort it requires of you. There are always a few things one would change about any program but overall the staff is excellent and always willing to help in any way. They do their very best in preparing you. My best learning comes with hands on experience so I would have felt a little more prepared for the job had we had more of that intertwined with our classes but to my knowledge most programs are not set up like this. I would definitely recommend the pharmacy program to anyone considering there is great earning potential in the career field as well as great work hours even though it is a medical profession."

"Pros: The preparation for a career in healthcare is more than adequate. Cons: The program can be difficult to complete in the suggested time frame"

"This was a very dedicated and at times intense program. It was very costly. The clinical part of the program was very helpful and focused on teaching you the skills you need to be successful. At the same time it was laid back and easy to learn from the instructors. It has gone mostly online while some classes are still on campus. The teachers are still always available to help you when necessary."

"Faculty are accessible and helpful. The workload is manageable while maintaining a work, school, life balance for the working adult returning to obtain a Master's degree."

"I was a student at UAMS for my BSN and returned to complete my MNSc. I love the faculty and their willingness to help us learn the material. The undergrad and graduate programs are very interactive (student-student and student-faculty). The college of nursing is also very involved with the community- there are fundraisers often and activities such as blood pressure checks for the homeless. I'm very happy with the time I've spent at UAMS and know I'll be happy with the rest of the time I'm a student."

"Program builds nicely. Is just slightly unorganized in some ways."

"The M.D. program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a great program. The class size is just right with a strong bond between classmates. Each student is there to support and help others in times of need. The faculty are very up to date on the subjects they teach and allow us to work with faculty from all areas and specialties. They are easy to get a hold of and are always ready to answer questions and help us learn. The team-based learning technique that was adopted by the program has proven to be extremely beneficial to the learning of each student. Test scores have risen considerably and it has helped to build a sense of companionship among the class and the faculty hosting the sessions while also letting the students get an idea of clinical cases that we will be dealing with first hand in our third and fourth year rotations. I feel like the M.D. program is excellent and worth the cost of attending."

"I love my program! The only thing I don't like is the fact that the hospital and campus are not located in a very convenient part of town."

"I think that University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a great school. There are many positives including great faculty, coursework that is very pertinent to my field, and it is affordable. Negatives include difficult parking situations and the campus can be hard to navigate."
