"The faculty is excellent! You will get a typical, but slightly more practical law school experience at UB for a fraction of the price."

"The faculty is outstanding in every way possible. My first year professors were available outside of classroom time to discuss class-related topics as well as provide tips for making in through law school unscathed. I had a lot of fun making friends through the various organizations that I joined and became active. I love the new modern law school - definitely is not a traditional building. I think the use of technology in the classrooms also really helped me learn the topics at hand."

"The faculty is excellent and the school provides the same curriculum of law as any top-tiered law school. Thus, the education is of similar quality to any of the top law schools, but minus the name and reputation. The University of Baltimore also focuses on infusing practical litigation and lawyer skills, as opposed to solely academic theory, which is exceedingly useful in actual practice for my internships. The brand new building is a beautiful bonus as well."

"Pros- graduate program offers many networking opportunities as well as the convenience of completing the program at the student's pace. Cons-not many scholarship opportunities for graduate students."

"UB offers a fantastic evening law school program. The classes are at excellent times to accommodate working students, and many of the opportunities afforded to the students in the day program are also accessible to the evening students."

"UB School of Law is an excellent law school. They are as competitive as their counterpart if not more so. They have an an excellent faculty and support stem. Additionally, they are well known for their excellent clinics."

"It is rather unusual that I have been unable to find any negativity or standard below what I expected of a graduate program. University of Baltimore has an architectural piece that houses its Law School with all the technology of a modern world. Interactiveness between professors and students is exceptional. My professors are also experts in their fields which makes learning as practicable as it can be since we learn from the best. In the midst of these, extra curriculum activities are organized to keep us abreast with happenings and societal values. I definitely couldn't have asked for more. University of Baltimore all the way!"

"I will admit there have been issues that I have had with University of Baltimore. Sometimes the ability to apply for classes is hard to do at times. But the professors are great and the campus is an amazing place even though its so small. There is a lot going on because it is very close to downtown Baltimore. Overall it is a very good school."

"The pros is having a field practicum where you can get hands on experience while working towards your degree. A con would be the schedule. At times classes may not have fit in with my schedule which caused me to extend my school year to the next. Overall great program!"

"I received an excellent education in creative writing and publication arts. My teachers are professionals in their field -- and with one or two exceptions, know how to teach and inspire. I was surrounded by students that were serious about their work and generous with their support of my work. I made good friends and truly miss seeing them regularly. I have kept in touch with many of my classmates. My main criticism would be that I received very little help in finding a job in my field -- though my teachers have been generous with references. In addition, the financial aid office gave me incorrect information and I missed out on possible aid."

"The biggest pros of the program is the faculty. Very intelligent and supportive professors who are always there when you need clarification or help with your course work. Also great at advertising open positions in the local Criminal Justice Field. Cons...well getting student financial aid might be tricky but otherwise no cons!"

"University of Baltimore School of Law has a wonderful student body, which is very involved in the community. There is a great sense of camaraderie among the students, despite the underlying competitive academics of law school. The new law school is set to open this summer (2013) and has received awards based on its innovative green design. Tuition is high, considering it is a public university. Police presence at night could be better."

"I find that our law school teaches from a practical perspective rather than a philosphical one. This has helped me in my internships and jobs. My main complaint is the cost of attendance."

"University of Baltimore's Creative Writing and Publishing Arts program is fantastic! It provides the opportunity to pursue an MFA degree in writing while also introducing students to the publishing industry through graphic design, electronic publishing, guest speakers in the field and a final (thesis) which includes writing and self-publishing a book. It's a very innovative degree that allows for many career directions upon completion (I hope!). The area, midtown, is very diverse and eclectic. There have been safety issues but the university works hard to ensure student's safety."
