"UB has an excellent online MS in Human Nutrition program. Professors are all highly qualified, many holding a PhD , MD, and/or ND degree and many having gone through the program themselves. There is a strong focus on the biochemical aspect of human nutrition as well as human disease, functional medicine, assessment and analysis of evidence through an evidence based nutrition course. The online program is moderate to difficult in intensity and requires discipline to keep up with the weekly work load, yet also allows more schedule flexibility than the on campus program. I highly recommend this program to the person interested in furthering their health care career or starting a new one."

"University of Bridgeport offers online classes, weekend classes, and on-campus classes. They strive to help everyone with different and busy lifestyles. They also offer programs that are faster, ie. hybrid programs if you wish to finish school earlier. The campus is small, but nice. It overlooks the Long Island sound so it's great for studying outside near the view, or just going for a walk to relieve stress. Financial Aid is helpful, staff is helpful, and I never had any negative experiences with the school overall. It is pricey, but convenient."

"Really enjoying the Human Nutrition program. It is relatively independent since it is a program set up for professions, so you don't need to quit your job. It meets once a month on campus. The staff at the school is very helpful, and the professors are very knowledgable! It is a little hard to get immediate responses from professors since they are also teaching full time at other universities, but they still get back within a reasonable amount of time."

"I love that the masters degree in human nutrition is available completely online and that it is geared towards functional medicine. Some of the faculty are great, others are a bit lack luster. I wish they would have focused on different laboratories and not just Genova Diagnostics. Overall, definitely one of the best programs of its kind."

"That graduate program is offered as an online format which makes it easy for people who have serious careers and a demanding schedule to make time to further their education. The online format also makes it harder to interact on a personal level with teachers and other students. The school was very thorough in explaining how to use their systems; they provided detailed instructions for everything. All of the admissions staff was very informative and helpful if there was ever a problem."

"The Master of Science in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport is an amazing program that is a combination of traditional nutrition studies and functional medicine. The opportunity to do this program online means that it is possible to complete while working full time. The only drawback to the program is that the level of the students is very variable. Some students are quite ahead of others."
