"UB has an excellent online MS in Human Nutrition program. Professors are all highly qualified, many holding a PhD , MD, and/or ND degree and many having gone through the program themselves. There is a strong focus on the biochemical aspect of human nutrition as well as human disease, functional medicine, assessment and analysis of evidence through an evidence based nutrition course. The online program is moderate to difficult in intensity and requires discipline to keep up with the weekly work load, yet also allows more schedule flexibility than the on campus program. I highly recommend this program to the person interested in furthering their health care career or starting a new one."

"I love the program that I am currently in. The professors are amazing and are always willing to help you out. I picked this program because I wanted to be able to have the flexibility to work and pursue my education. Since I didn't have the luxury of only attending school. I have learned a lot, and I believe that I will be prepared to pursue my career with the knowledge I have gained at this institution. Plus they're so encouraging!"

"University of Bridgeport offers online classes, weekend classes, and on-campus classes. They strive to help everyone with different and busy lifestyles. They also offer programs that are faster, ie. hybrid programs if you wish to finish school earlier. The campus is small, but nice. It overlooks the Long Island sound so it's great for studying outside near the view, or just going for a walk to relieve stress. Financial Aid is helpful, staff is helpful, and I never had any negative experiences with the school overall. It is pricey, but convenient."

"The pros of the program is it the first program to have the masters of dental hygiene. It started from the original dental hygiene school. They work with their students that are full time employees to make it accessible as possible. They made the schedule flexible to graduate in two years while working. They are very encouraging and helpful. I am very happy being in this program. The cons right now, I honestly cannot think of any."

"It is difficult for me to give an accurate "grade" of the school because I am attending solely through an online platform. I live in Florida, but the school is in Connecticut. The program itself is very user friendly and I will be completely the entire Masters program online."

"It is very accessible to use this online portion to get my MBA as I can work and do my work in the comfort of my own home. I might not be able to get the one on one in the classroom experience but I think I can survive without that."

"I love that the masters degree in human nutrition is available completely online and that it is geared towards functional medicine. Some of the faculty are great, others are a bit lack luster. I wish they would have focused on different laboratories and not just Genova Diagnostics. Overall, definitely one of the best programs of its kind."

"That graduate program is offered as an online format which makes it easy for people who have serious careers and a demanding schedule to make time to further their education. The online format also makes it harder to interact on a personal level with teachers and other students. The school was very thorough in explaining how to use their systems; they provided detailed instructions for everything. All of the admissions staff was very informative and helpful if there was ever a problem."

"The Master of Science in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport is an amazing program that is a combination of traditional nutrition studies and functional medicine. The opportunity to do this program online means that it is possible to complete while working full time. The only drawback to the program is that the level of the students is very variable. Some students are quite ahead of others."

"Getting a Masters in Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport is a great option for a variety of people. I am a stay-at-home mother of three young children and the entire program is online (excepting a final test at the end of the program, which is held on campus) making it a flexible program. I can work on my education at any time. The downside is that all my interactions with other students is online as well."

"This school is a big ripoff. They charge a lot of money from students, but give nothing back. Some of the teachers can't even speak proper English. Living on-campus is terrible. Sometimes you don't get hot water for hours. There's a health center that closes at 6pm. And the gym has nothing. You can put at most 5 people in the weight lifting area and only about 5 machines. There are only a few basketball courts. No other intramural sports as they mention on the website.I sent my official transcripts from another school, and the admissions office manage to lose them. And some services that are supposed to be confidential are run by student workers, hence no confidence at all.Especially, the International Services advisors are impossible to reach for any advisement. They don't seem to care about the students. Some advisors don't even smile at you unless they personally know you. There is a library, with small amount of books and printing costs 15 cents per page.Overall, University of Bridgeport is a terrible place to study that is located in a unsafe area. My advice is, any other university is hundred times better than U of Bridgeport in many different ways."
