"The English Language and Literature program at UCLA will prepare anyone desiring to head upwards toward post graduate degrees, like, Law, Education, Media and other study-intense pursuits. I finished the program with a 2.1 GPA (2.8 overall). Yet, I felt that the program lifted me intellectually. In this program, they have designed it to make you think. And a lot of the program's philosophies follow along the lines of rigor and organization. Even though I felt, at times, that I should have gone into another course of study, I am glad that I completed this program. It has given me much freedom to pursue a wide variety of job opportunities. I highy recommend this program for anyone wanting a true collegiate education that offers your future a diversity and depth of career and life choices."

"UCLA provides access to many resources and experts for students. In the College of Letters and Science, I had many engaging professors that made the academic experience memorable. In addition, UCLA provides the following: - extensive alumni network, - many clubs and extracurricular activities, and - numerous internship possibilities in diverse areas of work and study. Caution: The lectures in my major had many students, so students had to put in effort to meet the professors and graduate assistants."
