"Top notch education. The school is large, so making friends can be a challenge, but the dorm experience helps with that. The neighborhood is expensive, the in-state tuition is a bargain, but prepare to pay for parking at the grocery store, out to dinner, and everywhere else. Beautiful sculpture gardens and tons of top-notch research opportunities. The Alumni network is very active in California, and some other metro areas. This is not the school for individualized attention."

"UCLA is an amazing institution, not only for its academic excellence, but the quality of people who attend. The campus has unparalleled beauty, combining the awe inspiring architecture of Ivy league schools with the background of Southern California weather. There's always something going on on campus, whether it's a social event put on by the Student Alumni Association or one of the other hundreds of student groups, or an academic talk being given by a world renowned speaker, UCLA offers all you could ever hope for in a college, and more. Even though it's a public school, there is an unique sense of pride among alumni, and we all do what we can when we can to support fellow Bruins."

"College experience was excellent. Psych major was a bit too clinical for my taste. I also minored in Political Science and Education. Both minors I enjoyed. UCLA is an excellent school and if I had to do it again, I would again choose UCLA. Good luck!"
