"University of California, LA is a very prestigious school with a diverse population of students in attendance. Excellent opportunities to further your educational enrichment with activities that encourage the idea of using your education in the real world setting. It's a beautiful LA campus, but it is seriously overcrowded if you don't have proper time management on hand. The competition in all reasonably hard majors is cutthroat. I could not find suitable housing options on campus and realistically the average student will have almost all huge classes. Some professors try to help but the sheer quantity of students they have makes it hard."

"UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television is ranked #4 by the Hollywood Reporter as Top Graduate Programs in the Country. This school has a great network of artists who are highly accomplished and continually return to the school to work with and teach the students. Last year I was able to work with Academy Award-Winning Francis Ford Coppola and Peter Weller. The fact that we get to learn from and work with these artists of the highest caliber is unmatched anywhere else."

"I overall enjoy the program. Again what can be challenging is the time. I teach as a TA and go to class and rehearse and create new projects for the required courses. But the education and discipline I receive is so valuable that I do not regret one second of it. Now in a perfect world where the courses are so demanding and so much is required of you the only con I would say is for UCLA to offer a full ride to its accepted MFA Acting students like the likes of Yale. So that students are able to only focus on the demands of school and fully focus on the creativity needed to give fully to the program."

"Although you barely feel like you have time to breath, the program is one of the top programs in the country to recieve my masters in acting. The professors that the program brings in to teach you not only the skills in classical training but also in leadership skills to be an innovative top leading professional in my field. I think UCLA's program is extremely challenging when it comes to time, working as a teachers assistant and a full time student doesn't leave me much room to breath at time, but it gives me the skills needed to be the leader that I'm looking to become. I would give my program a high score, because I entered graduate school to be challenged and shaped into the person that I applied to become."

"I believe that my program which isnt listed is the School of Theatre Film and Television is a highly competitive program to gain entry into. I'm working towards my Masters in Acting and out of 1,000 applicants only 8 are coveted the prize of an UCLA education in Acting. With that said I feel that it is a program that is challenging and demands the best of their students. It has a demanding work load and you are taught as an artists to learn how to work and use your body which is the actors instrument. It is physically a demanding program. Between learning lines, writing, creating your own projects and working as a teachers assistant. I can say that it leaves little to no time to seek a job to help fund my education. Which is why I am seeking alternative funding through scholarships."
