"I attended UCF as a Biology, pre-medical major. I have nothing but excellent things to say about the pre-med program at this school. The advising office is top-notch, preparing students in ways that many other schools do not even offer. There are multiple UCF accredited clinical internships offered per semester, which is also not offered at any other Florida university. There are endless research and networking opportunities in STEM. I highly recommend the university if you are pre-clinical! The only negative thing about going to such a huge school is that most classes have around 200-300 people in them. This makes it hard to get to know professors, although office hours help. There is also common issues with lines and parking, but UCF is doing its best to work on this while it continues to grow."

"The University of Florida prepares students for every career, from business to medicine to journalism. In addition to the excellent education you will receive at this school, you also become part of the gator nation. Football games in the swamp are one of the best parts of being a gator, so make sure you go to every football game you can. Although advising is not always the most helpful, students have created various programs and clubs to make sure you get the most out of your time at UF and ensure that you get a job after graduation."

"This school has great diversity and plenty of activities/clubs to get yourself into. Being that this is a large university, the majority of your classes contains hundreds of students, making it difficult to get to know your professor. Good luck with scheduling, especially when you are in your last few semesters. Some required courses are only offered once each semester, so if it is closed, then you'll have to wait until the next semester or whenever it is offered next. No wonder they call it "U Can't Finish" (on time). My tip is to get to know your academic advisor EARLY and make sure you plan out what courses you want to take and when so that you can be able to map out how long it will take to finish your degree. All in all, nice campus, great students, great sporting events and a wonderful lifetime experience."

"UCF offer a diverse environment with many opportunities to network. Get involved and make connections as soon as you can! If you're interested in research, establish a plan from the get go. UCF is also a fun place! Sports , the arts, and close to several attractions."

"UCF is a place for opportunity. Besides the challenging programs and courses, UCF provides a myriad of resources to prepare a student in their future endeavors. UCF is what you make of it. If you take advantage of courses, club and groups, and networking opportunities, your career can start as soon as you start your degree."

"The University of Central Florida Biology program truly prepares a student to either pursue graduate school or start working in the field of their choosing. The courses are fair and can be aced with hard work and dedication to your goals. There are so many different restricted electives within this program to explore your interests and options. UCF does an amazing job getting students involved and succeed during their college experience. If I had to go back and choose again, I would choose UCF every time. #chargeon"
