"My degree was primarily out of the College of Business and I was nothing but impressed with UCF's integration with the local business community. All of my professors had great connections and would bring in C-suite guest speakers from all types of local companies. If you made a relationship with your profession, they would also directly help you into an internship program by facilitating introductions and writing letters of recommendation. The program really works to make sure you get practical experience by teaching useful skills, offering resume advice, and requiring you to attend community events."

"I attended the University of Florida from 2007 to 2009 and studied marketing after finishing a high school diploma-AA program. Most of my professors were good but when I graduated I was extremely underprepared for actually getting a job in my field. Hopefully, this has changed. Pros: Top 50 school, super cheap if you're in-state, massive size of the student population means there are many clubs and classes Cons: Could have used more guidance to transition into actually getting a job. Getting this academic degree seemed almost entirely separate from finding a job. Pro or con: Many of my classes were online and had 100s of people taking them at a time, many of my marketing classes toward the end of my degree were group project based"

"I learned a lot from the opportunity to success because I too advantage of the professional resources. I am fortunate to have made mistakes and maybe even overcomit to different academic and extra-curricular responsibilities because the faculty and mentors at the school try engage in working with a student to help them understand what the best action to take is. Academically, UCF allowed me to purpose growth not only by giving me the opportunity to double major in marketing and finance but to also pursue a sales certification. Professionally, UCF allowed me to really get exposure to the corporate world by providing college work experience programs and unter national exchange internship programa of which I took advantage by being a co-op student at Lockheed Martin and Siemens Energy as well as being in the internship study abroad program through the office of experiential learning. It was invaluable experiences that taught me the skills necessary to succeed in the real world."

"UCF truly stands for Opportunity. Get involved right away with whatever your heart desires; SGA, Greek Life, Student Orgs, Internships, and more. I did it all and it made my time worthwhile. Talk with professors, use career services and I guarantee you will have a career when you walk the stage as I did. Don't let anything pass you by and never give up."
