"Being in the City of Detroit, UDM Law naturally has it's pros and cons. Many people are aware of the stigma that comes with being Detroit and I would say that most of it is true, some of it is false. Anything can happen anywhere, but the school program so far makes up for it. The staff, professors, students bend backwards to help and the smaller classes give more individualized attention. You are actually able to engage fully in the topics and discussions making learning not only easier but more enjoyable."

"A definite pro of our program allows you to work in our many law firms in the fields that you are considering working in so that each student is practice ready upon graduating. Our school also offers many classes that help prepare students for taking the BAR. I cannot think of any cons."

"Pros of attending UDM Law: the law clinics allow for making mistakes and learning from them before making them in court; student support services are great; helpful scholarships; right next to downtown Detroit's entertainment; near the local and state court system Cons: having to park across Jefferson as a 1L"

"Very high tuition fee for a fourth tier school. The staff and faculty are great, but the reality is UDM's ranking will not get me a job that can help me pay back my $120, 000 loan."
