"Tell us about your college experience.I really was great at drafting and wanted to to into that field. My Dad insisted that I go to college even though my GPA did not warrant it.Would you get the same degree if you could start over? No, Business Administration was not a good degree. Finance or Accounting would have been much better. What advice can you offer other students?Go to a Trade School (Such as ITT). You will be farther ahead."

"The program offers informative knowledge to prepare students in their field of study. However, the program is very expensive and does not compete with a lot of similar programs recognized nationally."

"Pros of attending UDM Law: the law clinics allow for making mistakes and learning from them before making them in court; student support services are great; helpful scholarships; right next to downtown Detroit's entertainment; near the local and state court system Cons: having to park across Jefferson as a 1L"

"Though people may feel Detroit Mercy is not in a safe surrounding area. Detroit Mercy has a terrific foundation of faculty that is willing to put the time into the students. With the helpful hints to become a successful young professional as you leave the college walls."

"The University of Detroit Mercy College of Dentistry is an amazing school that provides it students with the tools and education to become excellent dentists. Just like any major city, Detroit has some dangerous areas but Detroit is an amazing city with so much to do."

"UD Mercy is a great place for graduate health profession studies - the location gives access to the best health care centers and hospitals in the state, the interaction between different health professions diversifies the educational experience, and the reputation and network after entering the field is unmatched. The PA program will give you great opportunities for clinical rotation sites, and you will be ready to pass the PANCE exam after graduation. Get ready to be challenged in the D!"

"I feel the workload prepares you for the field of study. The professors are currently working in the field and doing research as well as writing articles. The information is fresh and up to date. The professors are friendly and approachable. The program is great and I am glad I decided to attend. One of my best decisions!"

"Professors are great and truly care about students. The gross anatomy is absolutely hot! Location is not the best and tuition is very expensive. Although there is a great amount of work, which is expected of any person trying to become a PA, I can confidently say that I enjoy the whole process."

"Very high tuition fee for a fourth tier school. The staff and faculty are great, but the reality is UDM's ranking will not get me a job that can help me pay back my $120, 000 loan."

"I felt extremely challenged throughout the Master degree, which turn prepared me for a Doctoral degree which I am beginning in January. The faculty are always accessible, and are leaders in the field of Criminal Justice and Intelligence Analysis."

"The PA program at UDM has a very close-knit feeling where students are always sharing study resources and helping each other out. It is competitive in the sense that it is difficult and we all want to pass, but there is not competition between individual students. (No class rank is published). The professors are all very good instructors, caring, and accessible. The student society encourages involvement in the community through group activities that provide another dimension to the program experience. There is plenty of parking on campus, but your own car is required to get to school since the local bus system is unreliable. The campus is in a bad area, but it is fenced and secure. Affordable housing in safe neighborhoods is available a 10 minute drive away. The program is very difficult academically, and expensive since it is a private institution, but with the great job outlook for PAs it is a worthwhile investment."
