"I learned so much about the world through undergrad and studied a diverse number of topics. In graduated school, I attended while working full time and helped me gain more in depth knowledge of my job."

"The pros of the graduate program includes the flexibility of courses as needed with the full-time job. As compared to the other universities, the cost of education is competitive. The cons are the lack of social programs. The timing and the organization of the social events limits the events to students who live nearby; thus, the chances of networking are few."

"The University of Houston - Clear Lake offered one of the few online MBA programs in 2010 when I applied to the college. The university provides great resources for distance-learning students, such as a wonderful technology team devoted specifically for online student aid, along with providing the university resources on campus, including the library. The majority of the professors do a great job of interacting with online students, although it is more difficult to do so outside of a classroom setting. The bulk of the professors teach face-to-face classes and welcome online students to join the class if it is convenient to do so. Although The University of Houston-Clear Lake caters to online students, the program is still difficult, as the job of learning is forced onto the student rather than the teacher. The university could take steps to bridge this gap by allowing professors to record actual lectures for students to watch online. In all the classes I've attended, only one professor provided this luxury to the online section of the class. Overall, I am satisfied with the workload and the education, and I feel I will be very prepared for the business world when I graduate with my MBA in August 2013."

"Pros: A very diverse student base along with experienced professionals from all over the world help understand the subject. Professors are passionate and relate classroom academics to real world implications. Constant talk about current world events and how they play into our academics. Unlimited resources to expand your learning and career opportunities. Regular subject focused job fairs (for accountants, managers, health care pros, finance positions etc.) No spoon feeding from professors and exams are challenging. The very idea of a graduate/masters program."
