"I feel that the professors are extremely accessible when it comes to answering questions. The school is pretty far away so the commute is long and at times it is difficult to get in touch with the professor or meet at specific times due to working full time while attending school."

"There are so many great classes coming from all 4 of the University's schools (Business, Comm., Humanities, Education) DMST students can select from each group to create a unique degree plan that can anchor their career objectives in a way that no other school can match. With this being said I wish there was more freedom in selecting which classes you can take instead of setting a maximum number per section."

"Pros are that it is a small school with small class sizes so the professors are able to really pay attention to you and get to know you cons its a commuter school so everyone doesn't live in the same area."

"The pros about my graduate program is that it helps prepare me for my future career very well. The integration of technology is very good. Also the program has a cohort so I am able to have class with the same people throughout the program."

"I think my graduate program is appropriately challenging. The class sizes are under 20, and the professors are very knowledgable. The assignments are appropriate and rigorous. I feel my education level has greatly increased since becoming a student at UHCL."

"UHCL offer a variety of programs and have really good Science stuff. My major is Environmental Chemistry and it is a very rapidly growing field and always in demand. UHCL provides a great classes and convenient schedule, variety of scholarships and campus activities. One of the cons though is the location, which is 35 miles away from Houston in Clear Lake city and the traffic is very heavy in the area. Public transportation is also very limited."

"UHCL is a not very large school with max 20 students per class which makes it very convenient and helpful when it comes to work with faculty members. It is a very warming school and the program is very competitive. I wish we had more students activities and sports though because the location of the school is not very fun so you can get bored sometimes in the school housing."

"Pros: A very diverse student base along with experienced professionals from all over the world help understand the subject. Professors are passionate and relate classroom academics to real world implications. Constant talk about current world events and how they play into our academics. Unlimited resources to expand your learning and career opportunities. Regular subject focused job fairs (for accountants, managers, health care pros, finance positions etc.) No spoon feeding from professors and exams are challenging. The very idea of a graduate/masters program."
