"Great school! Online program is well set up with deadlines and participation assignments being given up front. Everyone is very helpful and professors get back to you quickly. They do a lot on campus if you are near by, for the students to attend and be a part of so there's a great on campus community and networking opportunities."

"I have always had passion in interfacing information technology with management having acquired a Bachelors in Computer Engineering. Hence, the reason I applied to have my Masters degree in Computer Information systems. UHV was able to assist me actualize this vision with the enormous resources and lecturers available to impact the required knowledge. The Student-Lecturer interface have been so seamless with the zeal and willingness to help with challenges in various courses in the graduate program. The Library facility have also been helpful in making resources available as at when due. Summarily, I have been able to demonstrate the knowledge in my graduate program into my previous technical skill set which is making a positive turnaround in my work place."

"I enjoyed my classes at UHV (except statistics and algebra!). My professors were very friendly and helpful, and taught their classes in an engaging manner; classes also weren't too large, so there was more opportunity to get individual attention when needed. Plus the facilities were nice and always clean - a great place for your college experience."

"Pros are the availability and access to the professors, they are generally very quick about responding and even offer direct access phone numbers when you are having difficulty in the course. The cons are the lack of activity that are as hands on as possible. There is a lot of read and answer questions, making it difficult to generalize."

"The pros of my graduate program is that it is flexible while maintaining a valuable educational experience. The cons of the programs is that required the electives are not offered every fall and spring semester. This creates an inconvenience from the financial stand point because tuition increases each semester."

"UHV was one of the first universities to offer fully online programs in the state of Texas. I recommend any student who would like to earn a degree in Management Information Systems to check out their program. They also have an MBA online program that I hear is excellent as well. I work full-time and am enrolled in a full-time graduate program that is fully online which allows me to balance work and school. Additionally, the instructors and student administrators are very helpful and quick to respond to students' needs."

"I took classes online so I can't comment on the area of the university itself.I love taking classes online because I can choose when do do the reading and coursework. I think the professor do a great job of keeping us informed and responding to questions. The program is rigorous but I have learned a lot. I feel I will be well prepared to be a reading specialist."

"The pros of the MBA graduate program at my university are that the program is offered completely online which is great for working professionals who want to pursue a graduate degree at their convenience, the school is small enough for the faculty to give students one-on-one attention, and it is affordable. The only con of the MBA program is that for traditional students that prefer to take classes on campus, the options are limited."
