"The MHA program at UIC is relatively young (about 10 years), but it is a great program. There is a healthy mix of traditionally academic (PhD) faculty and adjuncts who actively work in the industry. Thus, you get a well-rounded theoretical and practical education. Also, the preceptor ship (internship/practicum) requirement provides students with extensive hands on work experience. I highly recommend the program."

"I was accepted into this program as a part-time student. The program heads never treated any of the part time students with any regard. The curriculum was geared to full time students whose only responsibility was this program. I do not recommend this program to anyone, full-time or part-time. This program has the biggest waste of 3 years, in hindsight I should have gotten my MBA."

"I was unable to answer some of the ratings since I am only an online student. UIC-Chicago is a top quality educational institution with an excellent reputation in my chosen field of Health Informatics. I love the fact that I can attend from a distance, as an older student, it is difficult to uproot a family, the online option makes choosing/attending the right school possible. The cons are definitely the cost of the education, but anything of value costs. I would highly recommend UIC-Chicago."

"I started my MHA program this Fall 2014 semester and it has been great! I do not have any complaints yet."

"This program allowed me to work a part-time job and go to school for my certificate in health informatics. I wish that the school would help me more with job placement as it is hard to get into a career with this certificate without much on-hand experience."
