"For me, it was great to have an outreach program in my area that had hours that were convenient for my teaching schedule. The professors were industry professionals who were very helpful. The cons would be the cost, but that is to be expected."

"The best thing about the University of La Verne is the smaller class size. Professors get to know you and the ones I have encountered were always willing to help you. One downside to the university is the lack of parking. Much of the street parking has turned into permit only. There has been shuttle service that will transport you from the campus to the parking lot and back but when you have class that ends at 9:30 or 10:00 the last thing you want to do is wait for a bus to take you to your car."

"I currently attend the Long Beach/Cerritos Regional Campus and I love it! ULV is a great school and has a great reputation in the education field. My degree program is the M.S. Educational Counseling, PPS program. This program can lead to further licensure as a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC). There are so many career options with this degree plan and has a reputable network."
