"I would highly recommend the graduate program at the University of Louisville. The instructors are phenomenal and their teaching styles are effective when it comes to understanding and applying the information learned. It is a wonderful college and provides so many opportunities in furthering your career. The instructors make the experience exceptional and are truly invested in the education of their students. I have been highly pleased and do not have the words to describe what a wonderful experience I have had with the University of Louisville. Everyone is so attentive and accommodating to the needs of the student. Again, I would highly recommend this school overall because everyone at the University of Louisville wants to see you succeed!!"

"As a native of Louisville, Kentucky, I knew first hand growing up that I wanted to attend the University of Louisville. My school has a prestigious reputation of having nation wide recognized programs that prepare their students for the career paths they choose to go. I am so thankful to be a graduate of the Kent School of Social Work. As a social work student at Kent I have learned multiple clinical social work skills that I will use each day in my future work as a medical social worker. One of the most profound skills I have learned that I use everyday is to the ability to work well with diverse populations. I have the appropriate skills sets to be a culturally competent social worker and I have found that I enjoy serving others that are different than me because they have taught me the value of social justice and what it looks like for everyone . I am thankful that the Kent School as prepared me as a professional and I plan to give back to the program in the future so that future students can too continue their education to becoming a good social worker."

"The Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville has provided me the opportunity to engage and interact with a diverse population of students. I have been consistently challenged to stretch my intellect, and perhaps more importantly, my personal views and for this my life, and moving forward, my career, will be richer. The Kent School helped me gain confidence in my ability to bring about positive change in the people I work with and the society at large. The faculty is engaged, and excited to be in the classroom. Their passion, whether it be macro policy, or individual therapeutic assessment, is obvious. Their excitement is contagious, so you can't help but find yourself excited too."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work. While at first I was hesitant about joining a completely online program, I feel that the online Advanced-Standing Masters of Social Work program was interactive, highly educational, and fully prepared me for a career in social work. While my undergraduate studies focused specifically on micro-level clinical social work, my graduate education has expanded my knowledge to include such mezzo- and macro-level topics as grant writing, research, and the creation of educational materials. The program uses an ingenious mix of written materials, pre-recorded lectures, interactive media, and web-cam sessions. Most of my professors have been wonderful, and in addition to all of this, this program was one of the most affordable that I have come across! I am happy to say that I am leaving this program as a well-rounded, highly educated social worker. I look forward to a lifetime of learning, but my experience at U of L has given me a solid educational foundation and marketable skills. Thank you Louisville!"

"The Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville is overall a great program! The teachers and staff will go beyond what is expected of them to make sure you are not only learning the material but able to apply it into your real life practice. Every teacher I have had has also taken time to promote self care, an essential thing to do during graduate school and your professional career. I would highly recommend the Kent School at UofL for someone who is a driven individual who wants to be in a learning community of respectful teachers and students."

"The University of Louisville Kent School is Social Work has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences. The professors and content have pushed me to challenge myself and as a result, helped me grow tremendously not only as a social worker but as a person as well. The professors do a great job of making sure you understand the content in order to effectively apply it to your own practice. One of the main aspects of the program is developing the ability to think critically, this was daunting at first but the school has the ability to successfully help you shape your mind in order to think critically, and as a result you will work as a competent and successful social worker"

The work is challenging and involving, interesting and entertaining. The professors are knowledgable and care deeply for the subject matter, and their students."

"The Kent School of Social work at the University of Louisville has a well-organized online MSSW curriculum. The online accredited degree program works well for adults who have family obligations and want to earn a graduate CSWE degree in social work. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in a graduate degree in Social work who needs the flexibility with relationship to his or her daily life responsibilities. However, a student would need to be a self-starter, comfortable with the responsibility of self-management and low social contact with other students face to face. However, the use of applications like Blackboard allows for online face-to-face contact for group project meetings. Instructors are very supportive and usually respond quickly to emails or phone calls if there are questions. Earning my degree online has worked well for me and Im grateful U of L established the Kent online program. The program allows choices in how potential students can conveniently earn an accredited social work degree other than in the traditional method while maintaining the same rigor of instruction and required accreditation."

"The online University of Louisville MSSW program has been an incredible experience for me. It allows me the opportunity to continue my genuine love for social work education, while also developing my skills as a practitioner in staying employed full-time. The professors are accommodating, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I could not have pursued a Master's degree without the support and flexibility of this program. I am extremely fortunate and grateful for this experience!"

"The University of Louisville is a beautiful campus filled with diverse students and faculty. I began my studies in criminal justice and American sign language. The ASL program was extremely eye opening to different communities and cultures that I was unaware existed. Learning from the Deaf community made me want to explore other facets of life, so I decided to pursue my masters degree in Social Work. The Kent School of Social Work has been an amazing experience and I have learned a great deal about myself, my community, and society as a whole."

"The University of Louisville's option to obtain my MSSW over the internet was so beneficial. After being out of college for almost 8 years and having a full time career, the UofL Online program allowed me the flexibility I needed. I did not feel as though I missed anything a classroom setting would have provided me."

"I highly recommend the University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work. The on-line option has been very helpful in helping me to be able to complete my program. The program is rigorous, but most of the staff are also willing to work with you. Full-time staff tend to better understand navigating the online program and be a little more helpful. My favorite course thus far has been Social Justice."

"University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work is a national leader. The curriculum and quality of leadership is beyond measure. Administrators, faculty and staff are very accessible and try to accommodate each student. My program offers a great variety of classes and specializations. I also believe an indirect benefit is the very strong network you are connected to via social media. I've engaged with alumni from all specializations and backgrounds who provide key guidance on how to best navigate the program as well as providing insight on opportunities the university offers that will enhance my student and professional experience."

"The school is great. Certain professors are better than others, but the connections ave friends made are irreplaceable. At times, the course load is rigorous, but always worth it I the end. Never took an online class, so i cannot speak to that area of the program."

"I have truly enjoyed my experience at the University of Louisville: Kent School of Social Work. Coming from a much smaller campus, Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, IN, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy my transition was from one campus to the next. Class sizes at UoFL Kent School are small, most are even smaller than my classes at IUS! I really like the small class sizes, because its much easier to be involved in class discussions, and I feel like I really get to know my professors and colleagues, making the entire learning experience more meaningful to me. The curriculum has been challenging, but no more than expected of graduate level courses. I am somewhat of a non-traditional student, as I am working full-time in addition to being a full-time graduate student. UoFL: Kent School does really good job accommodating students who work full-time. They offer plenty of night, weekend, and online courses, so that I am able to maintain my schedule at work while taking classes. When I have extra time (which is honestly quite rare), I do enjoy checking out the various workshops/presentations that are offered free to students. Ive also enjoyed a free massage, and free yoga classes offered by campus health services. I am not able to be as involved on campus as I was in my undergraduate experience, however I am very pleased with UoFL, and how easy they've made it for me to continue my education while maintaining a full-time job."

"I am enrolled in my last semester for masters of science in social work at the Kent school of Social Work at the University of Louisville. The online program is extremely helpful with a lot of different degree plan options. I was able to do my masters degree in two semesters in their advanced standing AA plan. It is extremely helpful and the staff I have communicated with are all helpful. I would recommend this to moms or anyone who has a full time schedule and are not able to attend traditional classes."

"I would highly recommend UoFL to any student interested in pursing a degree. I completed my bachelor's degree on campus and now I am completing my master's program online. The instructors are excellent, the curriculum is relevant and enriching, and I have met people from all over the world attending school through UoFL. They were my top choice and only choice for my master's degree as I believe in their mission of social justice, equality, and education."

"I am currently working on my Masters Degree at the Kent School of Social Work through the University of Louisville. Coming into this program, I was extremely sheltered and did not know the barriers many populations I am surrounded by faced daily. The curriculum provided through the Kent School is providing me with the knowledge, skills, and hands on experience required to be an effective social worker. Recently, I was accepted into the Mental Health Specialization program which will allow me to further my education in the field I am hoping to pursue upon graduation. The Kent School faculty has worked diligently to find an internship placement that fits my interests and areas of growth for the future. They have spent time getting to know me and what is most important in my education as a way to provide the best possible learning experience. I would recommend the Kent School of Social Work to any persons interested in furthering their education."
