"In order to fully appreciate the needs and desires of consumers, it is imperative to have a strong foundation in product development, positioning, branding, current events, organizational strategy based on research and analysis, all while having the general management outlook conducive to leading others toward the common goal. Experience alone cannot guarantee all the needed knowledge and skills associated with fulfilling consumer needs and desires. However, supplemental education and further development of skills can bridge that gap. Being able to obtain a superior education while managing a booming career and being there for my family is of utmost importance. "In my experience so far, the Isenberg Online MBA program has been flexible but challenging. My professors and advisors are accessible via e-mail and they use the online format to invent creative ways to convey information and connect with students. I am also local and I have found the UMass campus to be abundant with resources and the Amherst area to be beautiful and populated with many restaurants and activities (due to it being primarily a college town)."
