"Fantastic experience, amazing professors, terrific faculty-to-student ratios, and of course, a world-class city with the best weather year-round. I wouldn't change a thing about my collegiate experience, and it opened up the world to me. If you are considering attending the University of Miami, you'd make an excellent choice in going there!"

"I loved the University of Miami because not only is the campus absolutely gorgeous, but as a student you are constantly surrounded by other like- minded intelligent individuals. The professors are typically top notch as well! As a low-income student, it may feel like you don't fit in at times or like you can't afford the luxuries that other students can afford. The adversity makes the experience so much more humbling and it pushes you to be the best you can be in life. The night life in Miami is wonderful and I really think that I had a very unique college experience because of it."

"The school's main draw is an extensive networking program. The South Florida area is full of well known professionals who are intertwined with UM in some form or manner. The campus is as diverse as any in the world. The beach is around the block so you can't go wrong with the weather. The engineering and music/arts programs are phenomenal, and the sports programs are excellent and historically well-known. The professors here are very welcoming and most are great teachers as well. The campus diversity is diverse in the sense that you'll definitely see one of everything, but don't expect a pack of diverse groups at once, people still stay in cliques. The price of the school is constantly rising despite lack of increasing scholarships, so that's a major drawback. The funding goes to development of new buildings and business affiliates instead of scholarship funds, which is odd. Great school, great location."

"UM is a great place to experience diversity, school spirit, and life in a community rather than completely centered on school. Miami excels in research and preparation for pre health students. We also have a great music program and plenty of student organizations to be a part of. I'd highly suggest visiting the greater Miami area and getting a feel for your fit culturally. Attending UM is much more than being at school. You are part of a very diverse and unique community. If you dislike the Miami vibe you may also dislike your time at UM."

"Attending the University of Miami was an amazing experience. The campus offers a variety of organizations for students to become involved in and meet new people. Whatever your interests may be, you will be sure to find an organization and individuals who think just like you. If not, then students have the power to create their own. Our university leaders are very open to student requests and meeting their needs to ensure their happiness and growth at the University of Miami. The university also holds many events and activities throughout the day from tabling in the breezeway, free food, the farmers' market, recruiting and lecture seminars, and much more. There is never a dull day on campus! Academically, the university works to foster an environment where students can receive support and prosper. Students who graduate from this institution go off to do great things with the education and experience they received at this wonderful university."
