"The quality of the education at the university of Miami is phenomenal. If you show drive, determination and aptitude, opportunities will open for you no matter what. The staff at the graduate program are very welcoming and the professors that I have encountered are always ready to help. At first the cost of attendance at the University can be intimidating but the opportunities and the well-roundedness that you acquire is well worth it."

"The Public Health Program at the University of Miami is a competitive program, located in a city full of opportunity. The diversity of the student body and city allows for an expansion of one's worldview, and gives students a chance to practice their particular interests and specialties right in their own backyard. With this however, comes a high cost of living, which one needs to be prepared for before beginning school here."

"The University of Miami is a private college which means that it costs a pretty penny. Pros: Small classes Accessible professors Access to clinic sites Great networking Train station has a stop nearby campus which makes it an easy commute The University has its own medical school and hospital with a great emphasis on research Cons: Price of tuition and nearby area is also expensive but very safe"

"Disappointed with the financial aid, but it is the best law school in South Florida and overall it has a good reputation amongst employers."

"As a graduate from their undergraduate program, I was able to enroll in a one-year accelerated Master's program. This will allow me to continue to work with the quality faculty members in their program while working towards my Master's degree. The faculty in my program challenge students but offer support and motivation. The only real con about this program is that it The University of Miami does not offer financial aid to Graduate students."

"I feel that the overall school is good, however, the faculty is greatly overworked and there are no real opportunities for master's students. There is no funding unless you are a PhD student and there are not enough professors for all the students involved."

"The pros: The professors are excellent and are always available outside of class to answer questions, the BME curriculum is diverse and challenging. The program has strong ties to the medical school so students can easily do research and access tissue if needed. The cons: None."

"I am taking the Executive MBA in Healthcare administration. It is a very unique field of study and we are lucky to have experts in the field of Healthcare policy, management, and economics to lecture us. Overall it is a very good program that keeps you very involved in healthcare discussions and lectures."

"Amazing program. Professors are extremely knowledgable and at the forefront of research. Only negative comment is the fast-pace sometimes feels as if we're missing depth. However, it is exactly what is meant by an Executive MBA. I am specifically in the off-campus Puerto Rico program which is tremendous since the professors go out of their way to apply the principles to our economic situation and experience. Highly recommend this program. Do not hesitate to sign up. You will not regret the investment in yourself!"

"The most beneficial aspect of the MBA program at the University of Miami is teamwork. The program is centered around teamwork, which stimulates Groupthink and leadership. By working as a team, the program prepares us for the workplace environment. Similarly, our classes focus on analyzing cases and preparing write-ups and class discussions of each case. The students guide class discussions while the professor supports and emphasizes certain elements of each case. This facilitates a positive learning environment because each student is learning not only from the professor, but from his or her peers. Nevertheless, the program should focus more on advisor guidance, where advisors get to know the students and his or her goals as well as assist him or her in finding the right internship/career. Although the program advertises for companies that are looking for interns, the program doesn't advise how to go about applying and interviewing."

"University of Miami School of Law has a wonderful program that will prepare you for your legal career. Being that UM is a private school it is immensely expensive, however, Miami's extensive ties to the community are extremely helpful when networking and looking for a potential career."

"The University of Miami is a top ten program which does an amazing job of preparing students to enter the field of Physical Therapy. The faculty are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure they help each and every student succeed. The drawback of such a great program - the cost!"

"My graduate program is unique in that my Master degree does not include a thesis, but instead an internship with subsequent project, paper and presentation. It prepares us for the job market with both academic skills and interactive communication skills, the latter of which is sometimes glazed over in some graduate programs. This program is a cohesive 30 credit degree that is meant to be completed within 15 months of entry. Currently, there is nearly 100% job placement. Unfortunately, financial aid is weak, partly because there is little funding for non-PhD students; however, if the job placement is as good as advertised, paying off high student loans should hopefully be possible."
