"I may say that Mizzou was not my first choice for attending undergraduate, however it was the best choice. I was challenged and most of the faculty I was involved with, truly cared about my education. Mizzou is a positive environment for learning and allows people to grow as individuals. If I had to re-do my undergraduate career, I would still choose the University of Missouri."

"The University of Missouri is a great school and they have a wide variety of degree programs that you can pursue. This Spring I graduated with a double major and double minor. There is a lot you can do on Mizzou's campus and everyone is very involved with the school. Now I am moving onto the University of Missouri-St. Louis to pursue my masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice and I couldn't be more excited. UMSL will be a different school environment, but I am excited to meet new people and further my education in the pursuit of my dreams. This scholarship would be a huge help to pay for the tuition costs of graduate school."

Degree: Agriculture
Graduation Year: 2015
"The agricultural journalism at Mizzou is absolutely unmatched by other programs I looked at when applying to colleges. Because of the rigorous coursework through the journalism school (which is currently ranked #1 for journalism programs in the U.S.) and the extensive opportunities available through the College of Agriculture, there is no better place to study agricultural communications. You will graduate 100% prepared for an entry-level job in related fields with this degree."

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2015
"The University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) is an excellent institution for all Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) majors. As a young woman who will be beginning medical school this summer, I feel as though Mizzou fully prepared me for my studies in a professional program. I had incredible advising and research opportunities. I felt like I could explore tremendously--even within my own field of biology. I had support to choose whichever career I felt I could most make a difference in. At the same time, I felt like my courses were challenging but not impossible. I had great professors--many of whom have remained friends of mine. Choose Mizzou!"

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019
"The Specialist's Program at Mizzou has been great as a working professional. The professors are very knowledge and help prepare you for a central office position. The classes are hybrid style, where some of the class is online, and the rest is in person. I am glad I made the decision to start this program."

Degree: Music
Graduation Year: 2014
"The music program is booming at Mizzou! The professors have excellent depths of knowledge and experience. The School of Music is a nice smaller community to become active within, compared to the thousands of students attending campus. Columbia, MO is a beautiful little college town to boot!"

Degree: Communications
Graduation Year: 2017
"The Communication program at the University of Missouri has many great aspects to it. Although the school prides itself on its Journalism program (which is separate from Communication), I often felt as if I was being furnished with more practical skills that would prove useful in several fields, allowing more flexibility with my degree. This flexibility, I believe, has contributed to my graduate school readiness."

Garrett Workmon - 3/7/2017
Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2017
"The University of Missouri has provided me with great skills and opportunities. Their career services department set me up with a great internship. This school gives you lots of opportunities to get involved and grow as a individual. Mizzou also has granted me a scholarship to help pay for tuition. I would certainly recommend this college to others."

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016
"There were resources at the University of Missouri. My advice for future students is to use all of your resources. When there is an opportunity to network go for it. Try to be involved with as many organizations as you can handle. The University of Missouri had an organization for every major which was really helpful."

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2013
"I loved attending the University of Missouri-Columbia! Columbia is a great town with an awesome atmosphere. There is a lot of things to do while not in class. Mizzou has a great campus climate and there always seems to be some sort of activity you can join into on campus. There are also a lot of on campus services ranging from free help finding a job to tutoring. The professors are great and they are always available for extra help."
