"The University of Nebraska at Omaha is currently rapidly expanding. Since starting at the University as an undergrad and now a graduate student, I have seen a number of updates and developments in infrastructure and technology on the campus. The only real downside I can say is the public transportation in Omaha could be better; however, there are a number of new dorms as well as apartments in close proximity to the campus alleviating the need to travel."

"I think the pros of my graduate program are that we have such support from our faculty. I also believe they truly care about us and want to get to know us as people. They give us several opportunities outside the classroom to learn. The cons are the length it takes to graduate and the frequent lack of communication between faculty and students."

"This is a very rounded MD program focused on a team based approach to health care. While course materials can sometimes exceed the time limits of the classroom, the materials are manageable."

"The graduate program at University of Nebraska at Omaha is one of the top Criminal Justice programs in the country. The student body is very diverse and very interactive. Our staff is unique in their areas of expertise and their command of general knowledge. Someone in the department is always available and more then willing to instruct a student when they need the help. The classes offer quality time with each professor and gives our students a one up on studying in this field. Transportation on campus is accessible and affordable as well as living quarters on and off campus. You have the best of both worlds at UNO, city living that often times incorporates a rural feel. Great school to learn at and to grow on your life's journey"

"The professors in the SLP graduate program at UNO are excellent. They are very accessible to students. Many bring in other professionals from the community allowing for networking and additional professional resources from clinicians with expertise in particular areas. Omaha is a great area with a lot to offer students from special deals at restaurants to special free events both on and off campus. Overall wonderful experience here."

"The program is being revamped but overall I feel I have gained an accurate if not philosophical idea of Elementary specifically early childhood education"

"There are numerous advantages of the Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice program at UNO. First, the program is competitive towards other degrees on the market. The program is very intense, making your educational experience valuable. The only disadvantage to the program is that I didn't start sooner!"

"I wouldn't recommend a degree in women's health. There is too much overlap in the field making it very difficult to find preceptors and jobs. Instructors were very knowledgeable and willing to work with students, however not always available, even during posted office hours."

"UNO is a great school overall. The faculty is super supportive and the classes are interesting. I would definitely recommend UNO's College of Education for educators interested in continuing their education."
