"I had a great time at my institution. I felt that the classes and assignments were difficult, but they pushed me to be a better academic. Also, my advisor was aware of my career goals and took that into account when helping my sign up for class and getting me internships. She helped me get prepared for the future that I wanted. The book list was also detailed, including the key books in this history field while also including newer academic works that challenged different narratives."

"I have enjoyed my time as a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I completed my bachelors degree there, and I also completed my masters degree and I’m on my way to complete my doctoral degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have had a wonderful 10 years at the school I used to live in a dorms and they were very well-maintained. I love the community in the dorms and I would live in the dorms again if it was not for the price, I also enjoyed the dining halls and the variety of types of meals you could have for the cost, though overtime, the dining meal passes have become more and more limited in what you could use it for I used to have the unlimited meal pass, and now they have limited how many swipes you can use, and they have taken away many of the amazing multicultural Food, sectors, and unlimited many of the ways of which dynamic health functions and it has become less appealing overtime outside of the amenities aspects I really enjoy the campus. I think the Lincoln campus is way better than Omaha and Kearney campuses It is a lot more green. There is a lot more greenery. It feels more warm And you’re welcoming and inviting while the other Campos seemed a lot more dull. I’ve also enjoyed taking all of my classes. I’ve never really had an issue with my classes. If anything I always wanna take more classes I’ve developed such amazing relationships with professors and other faculty members at the university, and I am excited to finally be graduating, though I have enjoyed my time here and I would definitely go to school here again my siblings consider going to other schools and they ultimately decided to go here because it’s clearly better same with my other family friends"

"I graduated a while ago, but the experience was good overall, especially if you are an in state student which means cheaper costs. Entering the workforce I didn't feel like I was behind or anything, but I also don't feel like most of what I learned ended up being applicable to my career as a software engineer. But it never hurts to have a degree on a resume, and I think the overall experience was still valuable."

"UNL provided a great environment to be a student - both the college campus itself and the city of Lincoln. It felt secure enough to grow into an adult while also experimenting with who you are - your interests and passions. At the same time, I felt like I got a great education. I met worthwhile and smart people that guided me on my career and set me up for success. I later went on to attend veterinary school, in large part because of the work I did in undergrad."

"I loved the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It was a good experience for a school not too far from home. I enjoyed the environment, the variety of classes and activities offered, most of my peers and professors, and the housing situation. My only issue was the focus put on Greek Life— I got roped into it and regret it!"

"My college has always coached young academicians and made them become more of what they need. Everything has always worked out and made things clear and manageable. Furthermore, the university has also made it easy for young people and people of various races to become what they need"

"I have no regrets about choosing the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for my undergraduate degree. I loved the campus experience, and it provided me with countless opportunities to learn and get involved. I feel like UNL greatly prepared me for my current career as an elementary school teacher. The amount of classroom experience we were provided from the start was invaluable in preparing me for a class of my own!"

"I truly enjoyed my time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This university provides many outlets, tools and resources, and academic support. They strive to help the students, and they genuinely want you to succeed. Going into my freshman year, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I was very lost on what major to choose, so I panicked and chose marketing. I quickly discovered this was NOT the program for me. I met with an advisor, took a test that helped me determine my likes regarding school subjects, and also met a lot of students along the way that guided me. Eventually I found my way, and in a theatre class, I figured out I wanted to go into film studies. I was interested in casting, and decided I would be a casting director. Funny enough, I'm now starting a graduate program in School Counseling, but I do not feel sad that I'm not doing what I studied as an undergrad. I truly LOVED being a film studies student. UNL has a great film and theatre program. It's so hands on, fun, creative and unique. I loved analyzing films, and discussing underlying meanings of films. It was so educating and enlightening. Even if you're not into film or theatre, UNL have so many different majors to choose from. They have an amazing business college, architecture college, and education program. There are so many more to choose from, but this University has a lot to provide to students. It is so worth looking into, and touring."

"Its a great school, but sometimes you can feel like a small fish in a big pond. Therefore it would be beneficial to join an organization or something that can make you feel as if you have a community on campus. Also, it is essential to branch out and meet new people. I kept my dorm room open when I was studying because it would give people a chance to come in and meet me."

"You will thrive at the The University of Nebraska-Lincoln if you possess the independent drive to do so. Personally, I was a member of a learning community that provided an abundance of resources, such as mentoring, tutoring, and career guidance. I feel that my success at UNL was largely due to my learning community. If you do not have such a community or sorority/fraternity to support you, it would be difficult to thrive at UNL. I would advise any prospective student to search for a community that is a good fit for them upon attending UNL."

"UNL provided great research opportunities for me. I was able to work in the Law and Policy lab with Dr. Eve Brank. Because of my participation in the research lab and the research projects, I was able to present my findings to several conferences in California. I loved my experience and would recommend to any undergraduate student that is looking into attending graduate school."

"The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a highly ranked education program, and I feel fortunate to have been able to attend. I greatly appreciated all of the professors who were deeply invested in their students' success. I never felt like I was attending a very large university--my class sizes were relatively small, and I was able to connect with other students and my instructors on a daily basis. I still have positive relationships with many people I met in college, including my instructors. I especially appreciated the wide variety of classes that were offered to meet my course requirements. I was able to take classes that sparked my interest, and that still serve me well in my career today."

"After completing two years at a community college, I was able to seamlessly transfer to the University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL). Not only did UNL make the transfer process simple and stress-free, but I was given the first opportunity to enroll into classes that I needed and find the ones that corresponded with my schedule early on. I felt that my Advisor was supportive, understanding, and listened when I explained my interests and skills. Originally, I enrolled in the Business Administration program, but I did not feel completely intrigued with how my future would possibly play out. That is when my Advisor assisted in guiding me toward my ideal career pathway of becoming a high school business educator. To me, one of the most beneficial amenities that UNL has to offer is their Career Services. With their help and guidance, I was able to create a strong resume and cover letter and was given multiple opportunities to participate in mock interviews with valuable feedback at the end. After networking and meeting teachers from other colleges and states, I have realized that UNLs practicum and student teaching experiences are superior to others. UNL goes out of their way to place you with a master teacher so you are prepared mentally, physically, and academically to teach after graduation. I am thankful that I had such a great experience at UNL and that I have been successful in my career this far."

"At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln it was the best of both worlds. The large university atmosphere with division 1 sports teams and the most beautiful campus. With a small college feel for each student in their individual college. The teachers college provided a safe space for me to meet with friends, study between classes, or eat lunch on the way across campus. The colleges within the university give each student the opportunity to find their own path on a campus with 21,000 students trying to do the same."

"I received by degree online. It was convenient and the professors made it easy to follow the class and participate without being on campus in the classroom."
