"I had a wonderful time at UNLV, where I was able to receive an excellent education. Since I am a Nevada resident, it was affordable, and I absolutely felt that the teachers were engaging and cared for their students. The campus was large, and the student body diverse and mostly local. I received a quality education at UNLV and would proudly recommend it to any other Vegas locals who aspire to learn and work here."

"My college is definitely one of a kind. The classes I have attended so far have really opened my perspective to the broader world. On campus, every student is free to be who they want to be. Each class is diverse and immersive, compiling ideas from around the globe and presenting them in an enthralling manner. Additionally, there is always something happening on campus. Not a week goes by without at least a few of the dozens of student organizations hosting an event. There are several recreational athletic programs to be involved in even if a student does not wish to participate in formal college sports. Altogether, UNLV is the total package. The campus is large and diverse but has a homely sort of feel. I would recommend this college to any student weather they are just graduating high school or are transferring for a better college experience."

"Looking back at my program, I thought it did a good job of providing the material needed in order to embark on a career in Kinesiology. I think the department could do a better job of providing career opportunities and avenues for those in the major."

"Dr. G. is a gem of a professor, if you can take his Professionalism in Kinesiology class (beneficial no matter what major you declare), I promise you will not be disappointed. The campus is really easy to get around, no hills to worry about and convenient for long boards, scooters, and bikes. Free parking is hectic if you don't get there early enough and to be honest it isn't worth the hassle, get a parking pass."

"UNLV is growing and updating their facilities every year. Although it is placed in the middle of the busy city, the campus is not affected with the commotion of the Las Vegas strip. The campus is not very large and makes it easy to commute from class to class. The Lied Library is without a doubt a great place to study individually or as a group with the options of private rooms to rent or use. The school spirit is something to be noted, and every year when we battle for the Fremont Cannon with UNR, the campus lights up with rebels and scarlet and gray pride. My classes were difficult and provided me with a great challenge. The allied studies of Kinesiology were very interesting and gave me a little insight to what I would be learning in Physical Therapy school. The college academic advisors are great and put you on the right track to succeed. Once a rebel always a rebel!"

"UNLV was a school that prepared me for my career. Depending on the discipline sought, success in future career endeavors can be attained. The campus is almost always bustling with activity. I would venture to guess that the majority of the full-time students on campus spend a good portion of their time engaged in some form of campus extra-curricular activity. UNLV is one of the best colleges to prepare you for your future."

"The University of Nevada - Las Vegas has proved a wonderful investment. I have been afforded some excellent professors who have been very involved in my academic progress. While many instructors are lax, there are instructors that will push you to realize your full potential. I can honestly say I have only had one instructor who was not willing to give me undivided attention to ensure my success in their class. UNLV has a large, diverse campus with many different departments. My degree program, Psychology, has introduced me to some amazing researchers and really prepared me for my participation in graduate school. Finding mentors who will guide you through your undergraduate degree is very achievable."

"The university has a great campus with a very diverse student body. The professors are okay as some like to try to teach way above the class level."

"The Sociology Department at UNLV was great to be a part of. All of the professors were very available to students and helped guided me throughout my education at UNLV and have created lastly relationships as a pursue a graduate degree. All of the liberal arts staff were very helpful, even those outside of my chosen major, in all aspects of higher education. In terms of education, I feel as though I have a very well rounded degree and have a background in much of what I want to pursue in a graduate program. I would more than definitely recommend the College of Liberal Arts at UNLV."

"After transferring from another in-state institution, I decided to pursue elementary education. UNLV has not only helped me complete my degree program(s) but has allowed me to continue pursuing higher education with great support and guidance. I am currently finishing my Master's and then pursuing my PhD and feel that UNLV will prepare me for academic and career success."
