"Faculty and administrators are extremely helpful and accessible. Course offerings are diverse allowing students to tailor curriculum towards interests and goals. Have advanced technology equipment available for student use. It can be difficult to connect with other students due to a relative lack of clubs/activities for new graduate students."

"There's only one con. The location of the college is in the middle of nowhere. Coming from a big city such as NYC to here is a major change."

"The Henry Lee College is very helpful and is pretty much a big family. They are always friendly and push you to succeed. Personally I always had questions and concerns because I am someone that worries about everything, but my advisors were always there to talk over everything with me and to calm me down. I double majored like most forensic science do and they made sure that I was able to complete both degrees simultaneously and in a timely fashion."

"UNH offers a great student to teacher ratio in fire science classes. Classes are small and have a range of 7-24 students. The professors are very knowledgable in their field of study. The surrounding neighborhood is a little run down and not the safest place."

"The pros of the graduate program include the ability to interact with faculty on a personal level to help build social skills and to obtain opportunities to increase activity within the major. The program allows for opportunities to tailor the student's schedule to his or her interests by allowing students to choose elective courses."

"I was looking for a 2 year program to fulfill the requirements to sit for the CPA exam. After looking into the MS Tax program I knew it would be perfect for me. It really is a intense study into and breakdown of the internal revenue code, and breakdown of issues that are seen daily. The professors are all extremely experienced and knowledgable. Our class met off campus, and it was very easy to get to and right on a bus route. The knowledge I've gained from this program is priceless and I don't regret making this decision. I even began working for a new, better firm that was recruiting at the campus."

"I think that my graduate program is among one of the best programs in the country. Since I started classes in Fall 2012 I have been on a never ending educational journey. I have learnt techniques on how to process crime scenes. In addition to learning techniques and instruments how to process biological evidence, chemical evidence and other types of evidence. I have been on tours of forensic laboratories, attended forensic conferences, met well respected individuals in the science and given a chance to contribute to the science through my research interest. The professors are humorous, flexible and supportive, and this makes learning valuable and sustains my interest in the forensics program. The professors are professionals in the field of forensics because of their numerous years of experience in the forensics disciple. Being in the forensics program at the University of New Haven has given me the confidence that when I start working I will be a competent employee in the forensics laboratory. The classes within my graduate program are on a trimester schedule so we have three semesters of class each academic year. Two of these three semesters are 3 months long. The other semester is four months long. By having a course that last for three months I feel like there is a rush to learn certain aspects of the science. Nevertheless, this has taught me some serious time management. Overall, I am elated that I choose this school for my graduate studies; as the program proves to be both challenging and rewarding."

"The dual degree MBA/MPA program at University of New Haven is an excellent program. It is taught by an experienced faculty with extensive ties in the professional field made available to the students. The one and only downside to the program is that it exists mostly as a night school program making it unappealing for a non-working traditional student."

"The graduate program that I am enrolled in has allowed me to gain pre-service teaching experience which has been effective in teaching me a diversity of teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and methods. Unfortunately, this program does not offer academic grants or scholarships."

"Pros: -the faculty are great! they know their material and explain it well. Many (if not all) are still practicing in their respective fields, which makes for great stories and practical application. -there is a great deal of flexibility in electives Cons: -some of the popular courses fill quickly and aren't offered as frequent as you'd like."
