"I graduated in 2004 so UNF has grown a lot since then but I'll share my thoughts. This was a great college. It has a very small University feel but the educators are the best and very helpful. I lived on campus my freshman year and the dorms have private bathrooms for each room. There is no football team but the basketball teams are great and there is an active Greek life."

"Overall, I was very pleased with the University of North Florida: the class sizes were very good; I found the majority of instructors very helpful and concerned with my progress (without being "easy"); having one campus is very convenient. Specifically, as an older female student, I have over time become disappointed with the CIS program: there was little hands-on, practical "real world" (how I hate that phrase) work; career assistance was non-existent; and the program seemed to have minimal breadth and minimal depth. My understanding that this has and/or is changing: the university as a whole is emphasizing "experiential learning," field work and internships. I do not hesitate to recommend the university, but would say to do the research on the degree program itself. Whatever your major, definitely look into co-ops, internships, and field work."
