"The program was great. As others have said before, you get what you put into the program. Some students only care to just "Pass" and others succeed with success when tremendous effort is put in. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and it wasn't easy. Some professors are good and there are some not so good. Where professors fall short, the curriculum is what you can fall back on as the material is relevant to real world applications. Overall, UoP creates thinking and shared real world experiences with your professors and other students in teams. I went to a CC and attended a State College and didn't see this type learning environment to this degree. For profit and non profit both have advantages and disadvantages. I don't think the online experience is the same as attending on campus and physically being there with your classmates and professor. The true connection in being physically together is better than a "Face Time" or "Skype" education. Online isn't bad, it's just not as good as being together. But this is another conversation. Let me just say, overall UoP was great for me because I wanted my degree and took it seriously. Those that I've seen drop out or fail, it was no surprise as they were not committed. They either didn't care and never participated in class discussions and wanted to leave early all the time and complained about life. I'm sure you've meet students like that and they never went far, even in their careers. There are good schools and bad ones. UoP was great for me and helped me become a better manager. I work for a well known Health Care Provider and my degree helped get me a promotion five months later after graduating."

"I chose to attend University of Phoenix because of the convenient schedules they offer for students. Working full-time while obtaining a Master's Degree is challenging. However, U of P offers once-a-week courses on a rotational bases that caters to students like me. Attending class once a week for four hours and then completing assignments on the weekends enables me to work full-time and go to school full-time without feeling overwhelmed. The instructors are what really make it worth the money, though. They are insightful, experienced, and highly educated individuals who genuinely enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge."

"University has a great program, but is not accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). I've learned that since the MBA program at the University of Phoenix is not accredited by the AACSB, many employers do not even consider applicants with a NBA from the University of Phoenix."

"While a majority of my classes were on-ground, their flexibility of offering online was helpful as I traveled the country. This program is great for professionals with atypical student curriculum needs. I would recommend their program to other students seeking a degree while working as a business professional."

"My experience at The University of Phoenix continues to be an ongoing one that's been absolutely satisfying. I have been supported with staff and academic counselors who displayed deep gratitude for the students they serve. I've experienced follow-up calls regarding work life balance, and more progress towards my course of achievements. I've always been provided with the needed resources to advance in my course of work and was extended support when challenges were faced. I can honestly say, I've been so privileged to have chosen this university. I was welcomed as part of the family."

"I really enjoy going to university of phoenix. The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. In the master's program it is group work oriented, allowing you to learn to work with others through the good the bad and the ugly. I also like how the teachers encourage students to interact with each other and talk about their experiences and how they feel about the topic being discussed."

"I recently completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Phoenix. I completed the entire program in a On-Campus classroom environment in Austin, Texas. The University of Phoenix offers an excellent MBA program and provides a great deal of flexibility for working professionals. I was able to attend classes and submit homework assignments after hours while continuing work at my fulltime position for a company in the telecommunications industry. I have worked for the same company for nineteen and a half years and I consider being able to complete a graduate degree while furthering my career to be a real blessing provided by the University of Phoenix. Additionally, the program offers instruction from facilitators with solid academic credentials as well as a great deal of professional work experience. The additional insights the facilitators offer during in-class participation adds a significant benefit to the curriculum and program at the University of Phoenix."

"The school is great for working adults because classes are offered online or on campus. The classes teach current material which helps students understand the business world. My degree was a Masters of Business Administration and every class build on the previous class. I have a better understanding of the business world and feel confident growing professionally."

"University of Phoenix offers a great program for students who have other responsibilities. The flexibility of class rotations, start times, and functionality has made it possible for me to go back for my MBA. The key is that the instructors are all master craftsman. They are not just another professor standing in front of the class spouting theory or info from a text. They work in the field they are teaching, they bring real world experience to the class room and relate it to what we can use in the workplace. The only dislike is the learning teams, but it is awesome to build relationships with people you are in the same rotation with to encourage and motivate from start to graduation."

"The program at the University of Phoenix at the Vancouver campus was very interesting, diverse and impactful. It made a difference in the person that I have become because of this learning experience. It has not only changed and challenged me professionally but personally as well. I encourage anyone who has the time to actually take classes at this campus."
