"University of Pittsburgh prepared me for a job in my field. I have no doubt that I received the best education. It was expensive and it was hard work but I know that i have a better education than other colleagues in my field."

"The University of Pittsburgh is an amazing school. There are so many fascinating research opportunities happening all the time, great sports, and quality classes. Even though it is a large school, I was shocked at how much personal attention I got from administrative staff that were making sure I got the education I desired. Pittsburgh is also the most amazing city. I moved to Pittsburgh and went to Pitt not knowing anyone else, and I would LOVE to be able to do it all again!"

"The professors in the program are incredibly accessible and very willing to help with anything ranging from networking to homework. Within the first two weeks, the professors knew the names of every student in the program. The program is moving toward even more clinic hours and hands-on learning which is very useful in order to learn the profession, but does increase the work-load substantially. Because this is such a small program, there isn't much financial aid available. However, the MS in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Pitt is significantly less expensive than other programs while still doing a fantastic job of preparing its students to become practitioners."

"The University of Pittsburgh offers a very prestigious and rigorous program in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics. This rising field is becoming more important with the rise in health related and combat related amputations and deformities. The University of Pittsburgh is a top choice for education quality and will introduce me into the work force with a solid foundation of prestige, work ethic, and a competitive edge. As family is one of the most important things to me, the only con of attending the University of Pittsburgh is the distance separating me from my family while I attend school."
