"Great campus. Lots of fun city living. Lots of parties and extracurricular activities. I had great undergrad experience as a history major. Good classes and professors. Excellent student health and good dining and housing options. The masters in the art of teaching program, however, was a joke. Very disorganized and felt like it was just an exchange of money for a degree, not based on learning or grades earned."

"Pitt was good to me and I'm glad I went there. I think my degree is worth more now than it was when I graduated, because the school has done a good job of recruiting competitive students and supporting those students who are focused and driven."

"I liked being on a campus that was part of a larger community/city, not being isolated like a lot of rural campuses. The sciences are top notch, the prices reasonable (comparatively), and Pittsburgh is a great city to live in all around. 10/10 would do it again!"

"The University of Pittsburgh is an amazing school. There are so many fascinating research opportunities happening all the time, great sports, and quality classes. Even though it is a large school, I was shocked at how much personal attention I got from administrative staff that were making sure I got the education I desired. Pittsburgh is also the most amazing city. I moved to Pittsburgh and went to Pitt not knowing anyone else, and I would LOVE to be able to do it all again!"

"The atmosphere of the university is very friendly and has a great urban feel. If you do your research on your professors you can take some really great classes that are engaging and fun. Don't get a meal plan and don't live in the dorms because it is not a great experience and you will pay a lot of money compared to what you get out of it."
